tbh, i feel like there is a bit of expectancy to jump on and off a mount.
Most people are hoarding their Talt for their own guild though, shops like that have been disappearing since a few days. I saw some early on.

The thing about " Dragoonâs skills doesnât work while riding" seems like a bug:
Cataphract pretty much useless,
a whut?
-movespeed
-largest melee AoE
-offtank(peltast1)
-cast while moving
-best swordie for PvP (chasing/gapcloser and difficult to kite)
-good base for melee guildmaster(templar)
#Fencer is the underpowered one.
Maybe all classes can ride now but only ride not fight and ride. Since you can raise new companions with guild maybe but only maybe. Need confirm from Some ppl who raised a companion.
I donât think it is a bug. In the trailer you can also see a Fencer with the Dragoon skills available while using a Rapier, as well as a Shinobi using Sword. Now Dragoon skills are restricted to spears only, so my guess is that during the recording of the trailer the skills didnât have restrictions enabled yet.
It is often common as content is not always finished when a trailer comes out, and stuff changes as the game keeps on being developed.

You should note just quote someone out of context, I said they would be useless in combination with Dragoon if the skills wouldnât work after R6, not the class itself.

You canât use Peltasta as an argument., since itâs another class and not a necessary way you have to go as a Cataphract.
I never said Cataphract is bad, I play the class by myself.

is very useful for TemplarsâŚmelee guild masters need to get in and out of combat hence the mobility of the cataphtact is the best base for a Templar PvP guild guildmasters
not to mention the best pvp swordsman aswell
guildmaster should be sneaky/stealthy to pass unnoticed through enemy defense lines and summon his guild on top of enemyâs ImperiumFlagâŚ
