Gem Enhancement Tips

I haven’t enhanced any gems yet and have just been collecting them. I understand other gems, gear and materials can be used to upgrade gems. I also know the cost of upgrading gems increases with each upgrade level.

What are some tips you have come across with gem enhancement?

For example, is there a certain character level that we should wait before we enhance any of our gear, since gear is rotated out of use at certain character level points? Or is not worth upgrading gems until endgame since gems can’t be removed and kept?

gems can be removed from gear but they lose 1 enchantment level by doing so.

As for leveling - go to starter locations with tons of mobs and farm materials (5 exp per) and pray for monster gem to drop (monster gems give 7250 exp when used for enhancing other gems).

Thanks for that tip. It’s good to hear we only lose one gem enhancement level if we remove a gem from gear. Also, it sounds like it’s recommended we use our materials to upgrade gems. Good thing I have saved them all and haven’t sold them :smiley:

Honestly, the gems scale very badly when your character is already lv200+. The difference they make is not really worth the effort and loss of potential.

+Crit rate gems are always relevant, especially at later levels. +Sp regen are somewhat useful too. +Block gems might be a thing for tankers along with stacking +HP gems. But you need to enchant them to level 5 or higher and then roast to remove penalty.

I notice alot of things dont scale well in this game. Because their not percentage based. I can only imagine at lv500+. Most stuff in this game will be irrelevant including skills. They need to make stuff percentage based so its scales.
