Gear Progression?

Could anyone help me with regard to gear progression? I recently came back to play TOS and I am very lost. I’m looking for something to tell me about it, but usually I only find posts indicating where or which equipment is best. But I would like to know if it is still worth investing in Velcoffer, for example.

Currently I’ve got lvl 390 with 3 characters and I can make Velcoffer with them. I am using the equips that are given at lvl 360 that are of the same level of a Primus but without status or the possibility to enchant. I wonder if I should invest directly in velcoffer or if I try first a primus with decent status. Or if I invest in asio / ignas. What about asio / ignas, really are 50 pieces per item? I really do not know where to go. If you could help me, I would be very grateful.

Velcoffer cost 250m (not include wp) so you if you can earn around 10-20m/day then you may afford 1 full Velcoffer set without set effect in 1 months.

You may want to use a cheaper choice of gear prim lv380 trans 3 full CON to do the Velcoffer run

No, you dont need to farm 50 of them, just go to market and buy Recipe.

which equipment is best

Best weapon is Velcoffer. Best armour is a set give you highest CON to can afford and at least 15k def or/and mdef.

If you’re feeling lost, go farm mindlessly and leave the money decide later.

From what I read the game will get easier in the coming patches when they implement end game gears crafting mats or something to be obtainable from world map farming. A good direction i guess as it normalise the progression part for those who are more casual.

The main issue will still be anvil etc. which relies alot on rng
