Game uninstalls itself on Steam

IMC doesn’t want me to play the game  Too bad I bought your founder packs :triumph:

Has anyone experienced this too?

Isn’t that a problem related to your STEAM though, not tree of savior itself?

Did you edit any of your folders? Steam won’t launch a game if you renamed or moved a folder and didn’t tell it what you did in it’s settings.

Same thing happened to me just now, the game just uninstalled itself when i tried to open the game.

I didn’t touch the files.

same here, game .exe file not found. So I uninstalled completely through steam. Downloaded and tried reinstalling - gets disc error? when steam tries to update.
Should try to fix this quick… this is pretty ridiculous lol

Woah this is something new.

Its giving you a hint already. Its telling you to not waste your time in this Tree of Failures

I’ll ignore all signs i still believe in this game

were u able to reinstall and play the game?

I don’t know yet still downloading…

idk man, every single time i tried to start up TOS, it say “missing file ies_client.ipf” but when i check my folder, my data folder is missing. And also if i were to verify the game, within seconds it says my game is corrupted. When it did manage to start up, it automatically pop out some weird advertisement. In the end i still did not manage to play it. WELP, what should i do? this is so crazy.

Happened to me this morning after he orsha update on my desktop my laptop didnt have this problem downloded and it worked just fine other than the fact that the orsha patch today made the game worse and more laggy

How many of you having this problem are running avg? It’s not liking the client right now.

I’m running avg! should i remove it?

Yeah I just had AVG inform the it quarantined the trojan threat known as the tos client

Well it’s kind of at your own discretion as to what you what to do about it, personal security and all. Personally I think it’s a false positive as it comes up clean on malwarebytes. Still, it’d be nice if @STAFF_John could chime in.

alright AVG bros.

try putting the entire Steam folder in the exceptions list. that might help. i use AVG and i’ve added Steam in the exceptions list since i had it installed. never had an issue.

Wonder if IMC ninja patched some sort of bot detection into ToS. Those can trigger a virus scanner…
