Hi @ekr66

We appreciate the report. Did you notice is happening on a lower fps? Has it improved since the last maintenance? We want to know more to make the game better for everyone.

Yes, the fps drops when swapping weapons. It no longer lags now, seems like the latest patch fixed it.

If you have your inventory open and you change items it will lag. 70-90% FPS drop.

@ekr66 It’s great to hear the improvement. Your input will definitely help us fine tune the game. Many Thanks

Your welcome. My pleasure!

I can’t agree, I still have the lags when I swap the weapons, it becomes worse the longer you play, after an hour, I have like 2-3seconds freeze screens.

Hey @GM_Fuji I have detected another source of major hit on FPS or “video” lag, it is the CHAT window.

When I leave it open to read shouts my FPS drops to 10ish and if I press ESC to close it, it goes up to 80, 90 FPS (with Vertical SYNC Off).

Another thing is if I press M (for Map) to see where I’m going, for every two or three seconds the character moves it freezes for one second then walks again for two or three seconds then freezes again, etc.

I have a suggestion, that came up to my head now, that the cause of this COULD be something related to reading/fetching data on hard disk.

Hi @Baldr

Thank you for your input. I’ll be sure to report this to the devs. Have a good one.

Hey @GM_Fuji thanks for your reply and let me correct what I said about the chat window. That was incorrect. Please do not consider to report it to the devs as it may be misleading. I paid more attention yesterday after what I’ve written here and could check that is not true, I’m sorry.

On the other hand, one thing I tested, right now, if I’m on Klaipeda Town map, for example, and stay in a area with no one near, the frames per second remain alright (over 100fps even with chat window open) and as soon as another player character gets near my field of vision the game starts to stutter and fps drops by a lot. Probably because of heavy data being downloaded, read and cached (could be my Hard Disk that becomes a bottleneck but it can be a design flaw in programming too) to see them all in real-time.

If I stay on channel 1 with all those player shops in the center near the Goddess Statue the fps drops to 7~8. As the other player characters starts to load in screen I get some very minor stutters/freezes (below 1 second) while I’m walking.

Yea…the problem still persist, anyone know any fix to this yet?
