That you can. Yet most bots and rmt ate one .
RMT requires a buyer and a seller. Since stopping the bots is like fighting a losing battle, they are going after the buyers. If you were a legitimate buyer and wanted to purchase silver or items or something without getting banned, how would you do it?
I do know why imc doing it.
Problem is when the normal players doing no wrong and get â â â â â â over rmt selling.
IMC made its statement about economy for a good reason. RMT is the lesser evil here compared to botters who will screw up the economy regardless whether or not they sell the millions of silver they make in a matter of mere days.
So yeah bots =/= rmt, but sadly it doesnt even matter.
I like how you conveniently ignored my comment about there being RMT salesmen in every Klaipeda channel and now theyâre in Orsha as well. Have you also taken a look at some of the prices RMTâers use to subvert the market restrictions? http://puu.sh/odAQe/d24c6660e1.jpg
Now tell me again how market restrictions prevent RMT.
Because it means â â â â . If your RMT service is getting no business, what do you do? You advertise. Of course there are plenty of RMT salesmen. Itâs been 2 weeks. Iâm not arguing that there is 100% no RMT. Thatâs impossible to prove. But neither can you argue that RMT salesmen = RMT transactions occuring.
That image you linked however, is a valid argument.
Not sure if youâve seen it yet, but IMC released another statement about the changes theyâll be making to the trade and market systems. Theyâre adding the ability for users to flag down market listings such as those 1mil peaches or w/e. That should allow the community to help prevent these sorts of transactions. Granted there is no way to catch them all, but its a start.
Letâs not forget the s%#t people who actually buy the silver from these POS sellers.
At this point even as premium you have lots of restrictions so its beter to play ad f2p or get tbe 500k for a token from bots/rmt.imc dont deserves the money if they doing â â â â like this.
As for me i will just plat as f2p if imc dont do a normal 100% restrictions free trading and dungeons.
It doesnât mean â â â â ? Your argument was that all these market restrictions were put in place to prevent RMT. Well guess what? It hasnât. The merchants in klaipeda and orsha are proof of this.
If IMC is really serious about wanting to get rid of RMT then they should hire someone to at least patrol klaipeda and ban all the RMT spammers.
If IMC is really serious about wanting to get rid of RMT then maybe they should, like any other competitive MMO, make RMT reportable. As it stands now you canât even report someone because there is no such function in the game, which is ridiculous.
You can play devilâs advocate all you want but the fact of the matter is that the market restrictions are horribly ineffective at dealing with RMT if IMC isnât even going to bother doing something about the source of the problem.
The only thing this market restriction has done is force players who want to be competitive in this game to buy premium, a.k.a. nicely lining up IMCâs pockets.
