When I double click my desktop icon or try to load the game from steam I get the small window that loads to 100% and then when the game window enlarges to full screen I just get a white screen for a minute and the game closes with no crash report.
When reporting something don’t forget to put your system specs (CPU, GPU, OS(32 or 64 bits) RAM)
Install the DirectX 10 (inside the game folder there is an installation (TreeofSavior/release/patch/DirectX)
Try run the game again.
If fail:
Try to verify the game cache through Steam, go on Library then right click in the game, go on properties, click in Local Files tab and click in verify game files.
Try to run the game again.
If fail:
Install or reinstall (uninstall and install again) the VC redist. (2008-2015, 32 bits only for 32 bits OS or 32 and 64 bits for 64 bits OS).
I would suggest you to open “Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release\user.xml” and change the Resolution mode to 0.
This will force the client to run the game in full screen mode, if you’re using windows 10 like i do, i guess this is the only solution.
No idea what’s happening but i think some windows 10 users have run into this error since the open beta started.
It’s pretty annoying since you can’t alt tab to other softwares but if you wanna play tree of savior like i do then i guess you’ll have to do this.
