Game Is Worse. Farewell Friends

I only logon to do TBL matches, and 90% of them are crashing now, so I can’t even do that. The amount of bugs after R8 patch have increased a ton. Time to call it quits with Revelations and Dark&Light both coming out this fall. I was waiting a long time for R8 patch but was disappointed to see the game is even worse.

Reasons to Quit

  1. Crash. Crash. Bug. Crash. No matter how hard you try to like the game, you will constantly crash because of a frozen loading screen, a new bug in a quest, or whatever. If I play for 1 hour I will literally spend half that time task manager closing the game and reloading.
  2. Devs do not speak English and take literally months to resolve simple bugs.
  3. PvE mechanics are nonexistent. They include damage numbers alone. New content mobs do way too much damage but have 0 mechanics.
  4. Robotic responses from support tickets.
  5. PvP is too limited. If you are a normal person with a life, you’ll be lucky to make 1 hour of TBL. 90% of guilds are neutral which killed open world PvP.
  6. Balance is… well you know :wink: some clases can do 70k dmg in one skill at C1 or C2, while others may be C3 doing 5k with theirs (look at sorc c3 skill)
  7. Game is dead and has been for a long time. Orsha gets excited to see more than 30 people in main city Ch1, so sad compared to other mmos.
  8. No class reset (with the class/skill descriptions mostly being incorrect or very vague, google translate level)
  9. The amount of bugs and balance problems will never be fixed. It would take 10 years at the rate they’ve been going to get things right.
  10. No GMs in game
  11. Hackers and bots are rampant and go unbanned
  12. IMC has only 2 workers
  13. I think we all know about that FPS problem huehue

I had a good run but I think it’s time to say goodbye. :cry: I cannot visualize this game with a good future.

I dont fault you for leaving. I agree on the issues you point out. BUT way to choose 2 titles that will flop just as bad or worse.

GL though sir on your future endeavors.

Also no vote option for hue.

See ya, people like this need to quit. Because they always jump from game to game, like he mentioned above, he already has 2 more on the horizon. If you are looking for a AAA title in a free game but are too cheap to pay for the AAA games like FFXIV or WOW then expect to deal with these issues. Either ponyup the dough to play the AAA titles or get realistic expectations. They ALL have lingering bugs and always will, even the AAA titles. Myself I am too cheap for the AAA titles and this one fits the free bill better than most. I also dont dont expect the game to be perfect like you are looking for, I except the flaws and make the best out of the game and what it is, why? Because it is fun. If you said you were leaving because it is no fun and not yournkind of game then I can respect that. This game is not for everyone but to just bash it for flaws that 90% of F2P games have is just ignorance.

The game will not die, they will consolidate servers and whittle it down to a stable player base. Much worse games than this have been around for much longer and did just fine.

So best of luck on your new free to play games that will also be bug fests, infested with bots and gold farmers, have massive city and dungeon lag with lots of mobs on the screen, but I am sure you will leave when the next round of the latest and greatest F2P games come out.

and i dont think i will like revelation too much, i will try it tho. it looks like a BnS Clone and its also Holy trinity, and after playing preist in TERA, i hate holy trinity games, bcuz they thnik th just bcuz u an heal you should take 50 more seconds to kill stuff than the dps classes. and Spirit shaper is the class im gonna play. also its CBT, so you wont be able to just get in. and Dark&Light looks bad lol, it looks like a minecraft that wont run on my laptop.

—I wouldn’t consider 5 months of playing ToS “jumping” lol. I gave it a fair chance and now I can see it’s time to move on.

—Most games can do this easily. You are clearly new to MMOs.

— It depends on your definition of dead. I think most people would consider the current population of ToS dead lol. I’m sure someone out there considers a population of 10 players not dead. It’s all relative.

To show IMC that more players are quitting and the things they need to fix although I’m sure they’re painfully aware already. You should be thanking me as this post might get forwarded to their proper department for review and fixes implemented in a future patch.

this game is basically just mineraft on steroids. looks terrible, all its got going for it is its graphics which even at lowest settings will lag everyones computer and eeryone will quit

Been playing more mmo’s than you obviously. 5 months is nothing. I have played the original DAOC, FFXI, FFXIV, Original Star Wars Galaxies along with the new one, WoW since vanilla, Guild Wars, Everquest, Rift, and a bunch of F2P, and more, so as inmature as you sound, longer than you have been alive. And ALL OF THEM HAD MASSIVE BUGS, LAG, CRASHES, AND OTHER PROBLEMS, just like this game. And by the looks of the 2 games you have picked to move on to you REALLY have proved you know nothing about mmo’s.

The problems you state are nothing more than a copy and repaste of all the players who bitch about everything but offer no solutions. Not saying they arent real problems but if they really are a team of 2 then I applaude them for what have got done. If you knew anything about programing or game design you would as well. But insteaf you whine and cry but dont get what you want, so yoy take your little toys and go home. I say GREAT PLEASE LEAVE AND GO AWAY!!! YOU WILL NOT BE MISSED!!!

I will grant you Orsha is dead and there needs to be server consolidation. But the game is dead, no, far from it, Orsha is dead but Orsha players are to blame for that anyways for the way they bashed the Brazillians. Was awfull easy getting dungeons then. Be careful what you ask for.

If your lagging get a real computer or better ISP. I run 60fps and only 13ms of ping. Granted it drops in cities and dungeons but is still more than 30 fps. Could be optimized better but it is definatelt playable and I have it on the highest settings. Sounds like you need to look at your gear.

All of those games (as well as Ultima Online, which I played for 13 years so beat that!) had more players than ToS got and held onto them for a longer time so clearly they did something more right than ToS did.

I’m not saying IMC didn’t make mistakes they made tons. I played Ultima as well, amd if you tell me there were no bugs, lag, or areas with little to no population, you are full of ■■■■.

ALL mmo’s lose player bases as time goes on. Will TOS ever have the pkayer base of Ultima or other powerhouse mmo’s? No they wont even come close but they will have a dedicated following that will sustain the game.

Once all the whinners finally move on, and I wish they would hurty the hell up, the game will settle in to its normal player base. F2P are even more notorious for drop offs because people change games so much now. Whatever g ame you move to will experience the same thing. Massive influx at the begining, the bitching ensurs, people leave and you are left with you dedicated player base.

Trust me I dont want anyone to stay that all they can do is bitch about it. If you dont like the game UNINSTALL IT AND LEAVE, PLEASE I AM BEGGING YOU GET OUT!!!
