Amen to that In the same boat
Blech, the whole league thing makes that PoS chart frustratingly inconsistent. Probably not the best char to compare to ToS if weāre trying to compare drops in players over time. As it is, if we assume the lowest numbers after each league drop off as the ācore playerbaseā, it appears that PoEās core playerbase started at around 4.5k to 7k and eventually over the course of a year and a half dropped toā¦ umā¦ 4.5k to 5.5k.
Which doesnāt seem as steep as ToSās drop rate where it went from 17k at peak to 12.5k now.
(this is talking about percentile rates. Absolute rates canāt be compared from steam charts because Path of Exile is available without steam, too)
Of course, the whole comparison might also be completely thrown off and rendered pointless if Path of Exileās steam release came out significantly after Path of Exile launched without steam, too, I think.
Itās true that all MMOs lose players quickly in the initial release, but the main question is exactly how quickly they lose them on average compared to Tree of Savior, and Path of Exile just doesnāt seem like a very good way to get a grasp of that. (again, going by that chart alone, it doesnāt look like PoEās core playerbase really dropped off that much since December 2014, which seems soā¦ not right that PoEās steam chart probably isnāt a good example of a typical drop off)
More like timezone differences since its an International server duh. This guy is stupid AF do the world a favor and never reproduce if by miracle you find a girl willing to let you anywhere near her.
One of my issues with this game is the clear lack of meritocracy, Iām not getting the feeling of enjoyment and the bliss of reward with the horrible drop rates possible DPK with mixed rng, Tp costs, low % of cubes. Iāve tried dropping the game twice, and luckily in between those two (literally the night Iām contemplating and deciding for myself to give up) Iāve gotten petamion and mana mana recipe. And with the current class balances, Iām further discouraged. Just merit the people and they should reciprocate the game with more playing hours.
IMC negligences with transfers was suicide.
"How do you make people give up your game?"

Yesā¦ I donāt even bother logging in to do those daily dungeon runs for the ā ā ā ā ā ā ā Arde Dagger anymore.
After an entire month of trying to get one, the arde dagger can go ā ā ā ā off.
The only time I will login is until they have a major update with all the monk buffs or new rank 8 class.
can you belive I get it on the first tries and I let it more or less 1 month inside the storage because I had no idea of the value until a friend told me to get one of these.
hahahahahahahhahah life is full of BS
Took me 3 months to get that bitch ass weapon. At which point I just straight said screw it and progressed later into the game. During a lazy run when I was 170 I finally got it and squealed like a little girl.
Where is the nearest Save point/Statue for the 130 dungeon thanks!
This comment had me laughing way too loud at work hahaha.
I got two in just about 25 boxes lol
The sad part about ToS is that all the āAnti-botsā measurement are killing the newer players motivation to play this game.
I have been farming items because I want to have some silvers. I got a few Mithril ore after a few hours and when a friend saw someone offering high talt, she immediately told me to sell it asap.
But hoorah, āThis feature will be available after 16-7-2016 20:55ā
Itās great being banned from using market and trading for almost 2 freaking weeks just because Iām a new player (I started playing about on the 6th) even if Iām already playing for TP and buying token + suit + premium hair. When Iām already at least 40$ deep into the game, the time restrict should just go poof.
Games like this are all about retention rate. Retention rate greatly depends on how enjoyable the first three days of the game will be to a player so they try their best to make the game as enjoyable for newer players hoping they will stay because if they last more than 3 days, the chance of them playing and paying is almost as high as 70% according to most gaming market research and seminar I had been to.
This game completely screw that concept and does everything it can to shut newer players away from the ToS community and economy for weeks. Itās probably a miracle if more than 10% of the new players decide to stay, and Iām sad to be a part of that 10% simply because I like the chicken suit so much and I havenāt been able to find a relaxing grinding MMO like this for ages.
And this is only how bad it is for new players. I donāt even have to get to level 280 and I already know how stale this game will be especially after I reach end-game content because of the extremely poor damage and class skill scaling. All the late-game builds will have to follow the same āStack % damage buff or utility from the early classes and get a bunch of 20-30 hits attack if you want to deal damage late gameā. If you donāt, you fall off. It really sucks the game has multiple ways to kill what is supposed to make the game enjoyable.
How come i never experienced that lmaoā¦

ToS certainly is something I really wonāt recommend to anyone I know cause none of the people in my gaming group like to grind like I do (6-8 hours in the same map even at low level instead of questing). Iām only okay with the grinding because my favourites MMO include RO and GE which has as much grinding.
Right now, the fun part of the game is just about me trying to create new characters based on some random characters I had or seen and see how far I can go with the for-fun build before I feel like giving up.
I remember hearing about some dude who made Pyro and Ice 3. He belongs in a Hero Academia.

This game is not for casual players. Which is bad for the game population and therefore the profit imo. Making it a bit casual, have some pvp and gvg, nore events would be nice. Easy to find such actions and I wonder why they donāt do anything.
It doesnāt even have to be casual to be attractive. TBH, I find the whole reroll and experiment with annoying meta/grind attractive especially for Asians who love this kind of MMO compared to western since weāre greatly inflenced by grindy games like RO.
The problem is that you canāt fully play this game for at least 12 days because of all the restriction. The game outright shouts āYouāre an outcast and we donāt trust youā on your first attempt to use the market/trade and shows its hostility.
Who wants to play a game with a big sign saying āYouāre not welcomedā?
I tried inviting some friends over. While some hate this game because āLOL WEEB GAMESā, some because of āLolgrindā, all of us have the same reaction toward the same thing. āWTF 12 days market ban in an MMO?!ā
