pretty how it is right now. the right thing to do for now is join in the abuse and hope the time invested for the abuse pays off in the future. although it will probably take months before the market goes back to normal again.
Trump won elections and markets were all crazy, massive dropouts and the start of apocalypse⌠a week later, almost all those things were gone and all is normal again, so stop being child and enjoy the thing if u want, or ignore if u dont want, in both cases STFU and stop complaning about everything in your empty life
The Abrasives are not a problem, since they have basically no worth.
In contrast to dungeon reset vouchers, who net you up to x silver and a chance on a boss cube rare each run, Abrasives are not a real problem for the game or the market.
Also, people who farmed hard for their gems/equip already have their equip so it doesnât really affect them and they can just start to gear alts so they donât really lose out to new players.
Basically this is an event that helps new players to get into the game, since the gems provide a significant boost at lower levels and the dungeon reset vouchers help them to level up/catch up faster to enjoy the game instead of hours of greasy grinding at certain levels, even without initial premium effects added via token, which could result in them liking the game more.
Game markets are bound to get broken at a certain moment when the developers are getting cash grabbers or stupid, but the way the market gets âbrokenâ via this event is actually quite ok, since certain aspects of the game require alot of money [looking at Rank 8 attributes or lvl 315+ purple/orange weapon upgrades e.g.], so itâs more likely that the money gets actually sunk into these kind of upgrades rather than persisting as e.g. in the Dragon Nest EU market when people recieved several 10k gold as server crash&complete data loss compensation in March.
I think itâs a little bit fallible to justify the ethics of abusing the event. IMC has banned for far less in the past, though itâs extremely unlikely that theyâd sanction for abuse nowadays over something like this, despite the gravity of this kind of exploit. Diminishing playerbase and lack of concern for western opinion on anything serious, right?
The event has shown how much damage itâs capable of doing in a single day, now just think that itâll be available for three weeks. It is by and far the most lucrative method of obtaining gem abrasives and other goodies that were otherwise limited in quantity previous or locked behind somewhat tedious methods of obtaining. Fine, good, yes?
Itâs good for the people who play now to take advantage of it but as things stabilize and we move on itâll prove detrimental to anyone who did not post-event, even if it becomes easier to just purchase the gems off the market. They would have to make the process of obtaining gem experience just in general a lot simpler after the event to balance things out. That doesnât even include the sheer amount of x8 tomes and Dungeon Reset Vouchers either, which now any compensation or event that hands these out will pale in comparison to what happened throughout these next three weeks.
Itâs clear as daylight whatâs going on is an exploit, and it sets a precedence if IMC doesnât do anything about it (whether itâs as severe as sanctioning or as damage-control as simply fixing the method in a temporary maintenance as a band-aid without delivering sanctions) showing how much they care about these kinds of things going on.
It does turn me off a bit from playing even more than Iâd already been not playing due to IMCâs failure to deliver on timely updates. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
Itâs not impossible that this was all intended either, but Iâll probably just rule that one out unless an official says it is, in which case Iâll just shrug it off and count this as our developers being âidiotsâ.
I donât really blame anyone for abusing this all things considered. I probably wonât be logging in as much in general, though this was already the case before all these shenanigans.
Changes that reduce required time or effort also draw positive reception from players who find instant gratification most appealing. Typically you look for this quality in mobile games, facebook games, cashshop-centric games, and slot machines, but not self-respecting mmos.
Theres a stark difference between easing progression and trivializing entire aspects of a game. You donât need to include this event to see that this has been gradually happening for awhile now.
Judging from the lack of integrity in recent changes, with gameplay even being delegated to the use of consumable items, Iâd say our dev/publisher team is certainly aware of which audiences to cater to in order to capitalize off a ship with serious holes.
Same feels.
Isnât this the small part of the iceberg?
Amazing inflation incoming (hundred of reset dungeon and rush 290)

Well, exactly what I posted earlier. While it is a kinda natural process that who plays longer should be stronger in the end, this event is a kinda radical cut. Get your tons of goodies now or be behind everyone in a way you can most likely not catch up. I have not played for about two weeks now and this event reduced motivation to play below zero if that is possible.
In rather simple words: This event devalues the work of players who got their high gems and good loot, thus removing a wall, but creates another wall afterwards. Between those who (ab)used the event and those who did not, most probably cause they joined the game after the event.
EDIT: forgot to say that the new wall will be higher than the previous one
i have no idea what makes you think that just becuase you âwork hardâ for your gems nobody else deserves to get them easily.
^ exactly.
this also almost âforcesâ players to âabuseâ this event or else he/she will be way behind other peopleâs gem progress (probably talking about months to a year worth of progress).
And this event is definitely not fun since all you do is wait.
why does this have to be a competition? who cares about other peopleâs gem process? just accept that some people are better than you.

You worked hard to get something, regardless whether in a game or real life. You put months, maybe years into something. Then everyone gets it in a few hours.
Is that fair?
Is life fair?
No, it is not.
yes. itâs fair. what does you working hard for it has to do with other players? why does it matter? some players spends HUNDREDS of dollars on TP and imc still gives free tp from event (i only use tp from events i never pay)
i donât see the problem with giving players a break from all the hard work for a while, every single mmo has those events, and imc has them too.
Really your problem for not taking advantage of this event.
are we playing the game or imc playing us?
Is this real? or the matrix?

Then give me a lvl300 ticket.
Along with +30 orange highlvl full equip.
I also want 10* gems and 10* cards!
All for free and of course no effort involved
And last but not least, I want a free @DieHardLancer as a pet

keep in mind that in ktos they get lottary events with 10m silver. Itâs a shame we donât have those in itos.
People have been abusing the multi interaction bug for a long time already, look at Uphill or other gimmicks, pretty much since it got released. Both IMC and the community have been killing the game just slowly. Channel crashing? Still no fix. But letâs be honest, we know who are the competitive fair players on each server, seeing random scrubs with level 10 gems or +25 weapon, 8+ practoniums from TBL bug, wonât make a difference.
Iâve been a fair player since day 1, and will be on this or any other game if you ever see me again.
You learn pretty quickly when playing f2p MMORPGs, exploit early and exploit often.
Most of the hueknights have learned that in this game. Anyone familiar with other f2p mmorpgs knows this.
Soviet knows this well.
