Game doesn't start after updater closes

Not sure what is happening but after the updater finishes “Arranging Files” the updater just closes and nothing happens, STeam shows ToS as “Running” and as soon the updater closes its back to ready to play.

This is only happening on my computer but not my laptop, not sure what’s causing this…

UPDATE EDIT: I can finally get in the game, not sure what I did but I backed up a fresh downloaded game file and kept reinstalling until it worked.

It’s been a few months I can’t login. Same .pak error as always. It doesn’t matter if I change the patch number in the release.txt file or try to check integrity.

whatever_0101.pak file couldn’t be downloaded. check your connection.

Maybe this time they’ll fix it as lots of players doesn’t seem to be able to join.
