Gacha boxes will SAVE Tree of Savior

Actually players are using ther money to buy silver from goldsellers, after gacha boxes arrive they will not have a reason to give their money to RMTERS/GOLD SELLERS, so they will spend money with IMC and the game will GROWN.

Lets be real who the fook is spending $$ to buy silver for TOS ??

IMC will make money since gachas always do. I dont think they will invest much of it into a dying fame, though

Gachas save a game? Horse shi1!

And what do gachas have to do with goldsellers?

Be real, if you spend real money, you want something 100%, not some rigged gachas that give you ■■■■ 99% of all draws.

TBH i feel this would be more a reason for people to buy more gold from RMT due the high prices of the stuff instead risking themselves on a shitty RNG in hopes they would get some sort of good Costume.

i mean why they would risk a few bucks in get an useless apple while they can buy some silver for few bucks and buy the costume they want from marketf from another luck player?

Donald Trump will win!

They don’t need saving… they got money. And with a mobile version they’ill be rolling around in it.

No, it will kill this game. People will leave in mass if rare materials are behind a paywall gamble.

You’ll have even emptier servers filled with just the whales because no one wants to compete with them anymore.

If anything, Gachas will benefit the RMT market. Why? Because RMT covers a broad range of trading and Gachas provide a wide range of items. Players only want one item and if they can avoid the Gacha’s chance at an item and go for an affirmative trade via RMT, then why the ■■■■ wouldn’t they?

Mobile Remake will save IMC and they won’t need iToS anymore :grinning:

Save IMC? They don’t need it… Far worse games with far worse payment models survive. Just expect our servers to get an influx of players on mobile… Not sure how that’s going to go. Probably a lot of casual gamers. Probably speed up those queues the low pop servers complain about.

The question is whether IMC can be saved at all. They are so far in the gutter already, most likely past a point of no return.

I think you’re trying to make a different point then I am. They’ill keep existing regardless.

But you’re assuming the mobile and desktop are the same game on same servers, I do think that’s quite unlikely.

If its the same, the population and cash shop features will no doubt increase significantly.

More power to them to keep us separate. Then we can keep more of the P2W out. But there is much more money to be had having them on our servers. Then you could play ToS on mobile and at home… People are going to find a feature like that appealing.

Lets not forget why FFXI did so well… The big MMO on console. Same servers… That game alone held SE up through their biggest failings. And it was all because they were early to a new market.

They gonna have to dumb down endgame content if they want the same game across mobile and desktop. huehue. Kinda hard to imagine doing those higher difficulty stuff on a 5 inch screen.

I guess we’ill see… If it’s all QQ this games too hard.

Though, I think we’re already doing just that. “QQ this games too hard”

TOS is well suited for the console market since it already supports using controllers…but playing on touchscreen on mobile phones? huehuehue

I don’t know… The kids manage it. Tbh they’ill probably have an easier time aiming ground target spells if nothing else.

It honestly looked like in the trailer the movement was RO style… Which is well suited to that.

Edit: here you go

Notice the pad on the left is turned off

so we discussing whether this mobile tos is a saperate game or a extra medium/platform to access tos?

i read somewhere there are real multiplatform mmo out there, but i dont think its technically feasible for pc tos to cross over with mobile at this point
