Hi fellow Wizzes!
I’m currently at Wiz3, and I can’t for the life of me decide what to go next.
The cookie cutter build is definitely Wiz 3 -> Ele 3 -> Warlock, but there are opinions that this build might lose steam at much higher levels.
Just wondering what are your thoughts on the most futureproof Wizard build now?
Would something along the lines of Wiz 3 -> Link 2 -> X -> Warlock/FF be good? Or perhaps Wiz 3 -> Kino 3 -> Warlock for the CC?
It’ll be hard for Elementalist to lose steam because of several multi-hit spells, but I would say wiz3 - something - chrono3 and cryo3-chrono3
Imagine when eventually, every wiz has pass. Get 3 in your party = no cd
Kino route might also be good for pvp, but I don’t pvp

I’m wizard 3 and don’t know what I should do next…
you don’t need to future proof your wiz, even filler attack skills are useful.
Futureproofing is one of the wizard tree’s better qualities though.
Wiz3 > linker2 became popular in kobt for exactly this reason. I wouldn’t worry as much about warlock falling off at rank 8 or 9 so long as you take its higher circles, though who knows for sure.
