Future Update P2W: Pet premium companion bonus extra

Well, suddenly i want a guild now, dam.

You have to look at it this way companies such as IMC or any company for that matter that release a Free to Play game need to profit to survive.

Without customers/players purchasing the items they offer in game the company would fall.

While this won’t appeal to all player’s as a good percentage of player’s actually want to “Play for Free” it will appeal to those such as myself who don’t mind investing money to a company for a game which they enjoy playing.

This is for all F2P games not just this, for example Path of Exile you don’t have to spend a cent yet the company keeps up the great work with content and updates so I spend money on it.

Well, that’s the info.
So, when we know the stats on this pet, assuming it has some due to rule of thumb, then we’ll be able to tell if this is actually P2W in any degree or not.

Does nobody know what PAY TO WIN even means? Pay to Win would be an item that without owning it you cannot in anyway compete with other players that do own it and are therefore required to purchase it yourself.

This item is even less Pay to Win than enchanting hair accessories (which is also not P2W btw) This is another cosmetic convenience item. If you think 30 Attack damage means anything at all in end game play you are sadly mistaken. When I’m hitting for 2500+ per hit what is a measly 30 dmg.

You people need to understand they need to make money still otherwise this game will receive no content updates and possibly shut down. I think they have done an excellent job balancing the attractiveness of the cash shop items without making them a requirement. Hell Hair Accessories can be enchanted and sold on the Market so even people that don’t spend a single dime can buy one. Same goes for Tokens and for all we know these pets might be able to be sold on the market even.

it could potentially mean a difference of getting or not getting cube from a boss.

bad example. Because that just means that somebody else paid for them and threw all their useless junk on market. You wont see headgers with really good stat rolls on market, ever.

Ya actually you will see plenty and I’ve seen plenty myself. Are they cheap? No, but again the bonuses they apply are really negligible when it comes to late game. Even a combo of +200 dmg from +elemental, +physical etc damage won’t make or break your end game character when it comes to hair accessories.

IMO the best accessory enchant is SP Regen, Crit Rate and Health unless you get a Godly roll with 3 +DMG enchants on all 3 items… even then it will be like +300 DMG total.

Most common value I see for +elemental dmg is 30ish and +physical is 35-40. Multiply that by 9 if you some how got 3 on each item… ya not that huge of an effect when late game you are hitting for thousands of damage. Some multi hit skill / builds obviously would benefit much more though.

That is very, very unlikely… I mean you are really stretching here to almost absurd levels.

depends on the class. I think some players would prefer sp regen (or crit rate) + AoE attack ratio + magic\phys attack, you can substitute sp regen or attack with movement speed.

3 headgears will amount to:
3 movement speed + 3 aoe attack ratio + 120 [m]atk or 90 sp regen or crit rate.

Is this alot? no.
Does it give you an advantage? It surely does.
Can you get them without paying? No.
Verdict? P2W.

I am pretty certain it was confirmed that AOE attack Ratio and Movement Speed were no longer available (if they ever even were).

Also you can get everything you mentioned above without paying real money…

I have personally seen a headgear with a single bonus of AoE attack ratio. Movement speed was also confirmed by somebody else. Its just they are way less common than other options.

Enchant scroll is ok, since it drops from the dungeons, I got two already, but pet premium is complicated…

I’d buy the mount if it means i’ll have faster transpo. I hate 100%-ing the map just by walking o.o

+30 to either of those stats really is extremly minor at best. Though the speed bonus is nice for non-mounted classes, but in combat its not going to make much of a impact, +30 dmg for most skills is just +30 dmg/hit, I mean for a skill like multishot or barrage its noticable, but for single hit skills? 30 more dmg is not going to make any noticable diff.

Also the headgears are tradable, so its not really pay2win, just buy them off the market/people. Trust me the chance of getting a good roll is probally less than 1%, Goddess knows how many rolls it takes to get good stats, unless your super lucky, its more luck than anything.

Also many other f2p mmorpg titles have FARFAR worse pay2win aspects than ToS does. Mabonogi, Dungeon fighter online to name 2.

not sure. but can i auto attack when mounting as a priest?

30atk*6 times per AA = 180 bonus sounds a good deal

but, what’s the companion look like?

i think those bonuses apply when simply have that pet summoned, with an added ability to mount it for traveling.

they have cute characters in a cute game, they would be rich just selling new costumes/hair type/dye colors/cute pets… why they have to cripple their game with this shi t and tokens and no trade and crappy market

You sure that wasn’t AOE DEFENSE RATIO?.
Between my friends and I we have purchased all 5 DLC Packs and have all used TP on enchants and no one person out of us has seen either of those 2… so I’m not too sure about either. I’d have to see a current screenshot, because I’ve actually seen the opposite confirmed.

If IMC just wants to make money, they should just hire some good designers to make badass or super cute body and weapon cosmetics that everyone wants

Then hide those behind an RNG wall known as cash shop lootboxes. Instant profit and no p2w crying
