Full Support Cleric - Build Help

So, my friend recently got into the beta and is making a Cleric for the sole purpose of healing and buffing, absolutely nothing else. He doesn’t want to deal damage, he doesn’t want to tank, just heal absurd amounts of HP and basically prevent people from dying ever.

Since he’ll be partying with me (Krivis/Sadhu/Druid), and another friend (Linker/Necro), his damage is of no concern in terms of leveling.

So far I’ve tried coming up with a good build and we’ve pretty much decided on Cleric 2 and Priest 2, but I don’t know what he should get after that. Priest 3? What about Dvierby for the SP- and CD- statues? Perhaps even Paladin, though he doesn’t want to tank…

Note that I have no idea exactly how good certain skills are at higher levels (like Aspersion or Monstrance) so it’s really just guesswork on my side. But that’s why I’m here~

I’ll have Daino myself so the buff limit is of little concern.

On a defensive aspect, Aspersion is really a good skill since it scales with pdef. it gives +% of pdef you have. As for Monstrance get 1 point. It gives flat +30% of dex thought its useful to classes that builds dex. As to you and your friends, i see dex isn’t that much of a build.

I am planning this kind of defensive build myself and is viable in any situation and maybe drop c2 Kriv for Oracle. And since since you went Krivis already, maybe your friend can go either c3 of cleric/priest for higher buffs/heals and take Oracle for r6. Just a suggestion.

I Wouldn’t advise priest for blessing + Sacrament tbh, but if you want to be a healer then mass heal + revive is mandatory, so at least priest 2 imo.
Paladin is great because of restoration, resist elements and barrier. Making it as much as a defensive/healing class as a damage class.
Otherwise you’re going to have to look at pardoner (good magic res, can clear conditions) or oracle (prevents conditions, lvl 1 only it says not sure how good that is)
Druid would also work, but that’s int based and you’re already planning to go there anyway. Less overlap is better.

So i’d say:

  • Cleric, Priest2, Paladin3 is the standard dmg + healing + support.
Incredibly defensive option. Bit low on damage but it’s not that bad. Has the most healing out of any option available. Ideally statwise as dex/str or pure str. Always add a bit of con and sp ofc.

  • Cleric, Priest3, Pardoner2 is the standard cash shop pardoner.
The simony/spell shop isn’t that good atm but being able to cure any condition and have a good + magic def buff should not be underestimated. Added benefit is that Discerning evil should be very nice for exorcise/linkers. Best as dex/str, spr or spr/str.

  • Cleric, Priest2, Dievdirby, Pardoner, Oracle. As a oddball support build.
Practically needs to auto attack to do damage, but has tons of support. Like a 5man warp statue, reduced cool downs along with healing and condition removal. Lower magic def buff but it’s still very good at 110 base. Best as dex/str, spr or spr/str.

  • Cleric, Priest2, Bokor2, Oracle. Zombie train of pain.
No really, this build would use str/dex to pump Bwa Kayiman damage while providing buffs and healing on the side. Also gets Mackangdal which is ideally combined with revive for a neat 15s invuln (Safety zone also works, but is harder to pull of on others). Not sure what the best 6th class for it is though.

  • Dievdirby build? Sorry but i’m just not sure what makes a good dievdirby atm. Damage wise they’re int based sure, and combine especially well with druid. But i’m just not sure if circle 2 is viable enough on it’s own and if the statues are decent for parties at all. It sounds far to slow/tedious to be of good use for your setup tbh.

  • You could also still turn it into a monk build with priest2, whatever, monk2. But i’m not sure that’s what your friend wants.
