Hello there. I’m still pretty new to TOS and I always choose cleric classes on games like these. The thing is that I have no idea what some good full support classes are. I would love it if you could post some full support cleric builds in the reactions since I don’t know any.
I’m not really familiar with cleric classes but in my limited knowledge the basic support build for Clerics is as goes: Cleric 2 > Priest 3 > x > x > x Cleric 2 for decent heal and divine might and priest 3 for max mass heal + revive + stone skin
cleric2 priest 3 chaplain oracle tao
Yeah after c2p3 you can go anywhere almost. Taoist as your last class is pretty highly recommended, but a lot of cleric classes have something they can contribute, and cleric has two 1 circle hidden classes that you can include too.
Here’s one good build:
I swapped out Miko and chaplain for krivis and kabbalist on my healer, still good and the kabbalist costume is really cute. Oracle, Dieverdirbys, probably plague doctor tho I haven’t tried it, can all swap in too.
That build I posted is probably the arrangement that adds the most damage to your party’s attacks, but the variants all add their own utility, and each will have scenarios and party compositions that make them shine.
cleric 2 -priest 3 -krivis -??? -tao/ ???
cleric 2 -priest 3 -krivis -miko -tao/ ???
cleric 2 -priest 3 -krivis -oracle -tao/ ???
cleric 2 -priest 3 -krivis -pd2
Chaplain is trash late game unless they rework it by making last rites/ asper… magic type so it wont miss.
Take Chaplain if you want to be able to solo stuff efficiently if you want that, if you don’t want to solo and focus solely on supporting ditch the chaplain and you can go for:
Cleric C2 > Priest C3 > Miko > X > Taoist
X being the following:
Krivis: If you want to save up money you can take Krivis, they’ve a skill called Daino which increases the max amount of buffs you can have by 6 at lvl 5 (7 if used with Divine Might), but that’s pretty much it’s only purpose (you could also lvl up an alt with with Krivis C1 and Pardoner C1 so you can make your own scrolls of Daino too and then you can ditch this option, every scroll takes 4000 silver to make at lvl 5).
Oracle: CC Removal, a Stamina&SP buff (usually useless), and Counter Spell which nullifies all magic around you for 30 secs with a 90 secs CD, could be useful for some instances, they also have other skills but they’re pretty gimicky and the only really good skills they’ve is Counter Spell and Prophecy (the CC Removal skills).
PD: You can get multiple benefits from PD, Healing Factor which is a very great healing ability for yourself to keep you alive (if you die party wipes sort of), Bloodletting which is a great CC removal (or prevention) tool, both of those skills are recommended maxed when going for only 1 rank of PD, the last 5 points can go for Epidemic if you want to go full support on this one so you can spread the debuffs from your allies (like Wizard’s Sleep), alternatively Incineration if you want a DMG ability (not that great for full SPR builds, you also need debuffs for it to work, which you certainly don’t really have).
Dievdirbys: Niche pick really, Laima it’s the main purpose to pick it as a single rank, it reduces the CD of skills which can be very valuable, it also has an statue that allows you to travel to other locations that you’ve discovered by free (using a catalyst that costs I think 20 silver from the Diev master) and another statue that reduces the sp consumption (usually not that great because of lvl 15 sp pots).
Chaplain: Can provide some support too with Last Rites some Physical Attackers might enjoy it, but it’s main purpose it’s the ability to solo stuff so you don’t entirely rely on people 24/7 in later maps.
Kabbalist: Usually very… very situational, it’s only purpose on PvE it’s Ein Sof which restores SP for your allies which then again can be easily replaced with lvl 15 sp pots (you also won’t need it because you’re full SPR so you’ve very high SP pool and SP regen).
Cleric C3: More heals, higher lvl Divine Might, better Safety Zone, but that’s about it, this option is often referred as overkill but if any of the previous options don’t appeal to you it’s still somewhat decent.
Those are all your possible options for that X spot, now it all depends on your own preference, as long as you’ve Miko and Taoist alongside Priest C3 and Cleric C2 that spot can be taken for anything of your liking that you think might benefit you the most for your type of playstyle.
I don’t understand why people keep putting Miko in full suport builds that don’t use Diev, Kagura Dance is good, but the chaneling of the skill makes it anoying to cordinate with the team, and Cure already do the same thing than Gohei anyway. I would take Druid 2 for Rank 6 and 7, Sterea Trofh is amazing and in the lvl 5 is already 1/3 of uptime.
And something interesting, you don’t exactly need Priest 3 because Priest 2 do the same, the only diference is a weaker blessing (around 600 less damage if full spirit, I think?), that opens the rank 5 for you, unfortunaly rank 5 have nothing, but it’s something interesting anyway, lol.
Mainly because of the Kagura + Storm Calling combo, it helps out melee chars deal tons of dmg with their rotations, however this is of course mainly used when you’re all a coordinated group and possibly with Discord or something to communicate (you won’t really be using that combo with randoms in queues, at all).
Another possible full support version is Cleric2>Diev1>Paladin3>Kabbalist2 or Cleric3>Paladin3>Kabbalist2.
While Kabbalist by itself isn’t that good, you get a lot of useful skills with that build.
This build will allow you to tank all damage of the whole team while providing a lot of extra protection (Barrier,Resist Elements,Merkabah,Revenged Sevenfold) and recovery (Restoration,Ein Sof).
The damageboost is lacking a little (only Merkabahs Divine Protection attribute and Double Chance boost damage significantly enough to count), but aside of Blessing and Tansmit Prana, there aren’t any good damage boost buffs in the Cleric Tree anyway (exemption: Last Rites for autoattack builds), and the damage contribution of Blessing on strong attacks/non-multihit skills is negligible.
full support cleric doesn’t exist
most of cleric classes have they own utility skills
u can’t put everything in 8 rank
