Full DEX Archer

Hey yall
I made one because I was always wondering if it’d be a good build and nobody could answer me that… So, here’s the answer:
Is it good? YES
Is it better than full STR or STR:DEX? NO
But it’s quite fun, since you can crit almost 90% of your attacks PLUS you have a huge amount of evasion rate

CONS: Your DPS is limited
Expensive gear management, since you need PhyAttack & CritAttack to improve your crits.

PROS: Very fun build
You can dodge about 60% of physical attacks
Easy grind + fast leveling

PS: I’m still rank 6

I hope you’re not continuing full dex? Being heavy dex is fine, and the math has been done on the huge numbers for R8 and people are saying that keeping dex at a level where with gear you can maintain 100% crit is better than focusing on str. But investing in dex to the point that you’re beyond 100% crit and the 80% evasion cap, with gear, is pointless.

On top of just having some points in Con so you can avoid being one shotted end game.

is there a max crit rate? or it’s based on the monster level?

667 crit rate for 100% crit at 280, plus whatever the monster’s crit resistance is.

What crit rate should you aim for for PvP?

I`m 202, about 230 STR / 90 DEX. Crit about 80% of hits, with a Manamana 6 stars green gem, 2 Sissel and Grand Cross with 2 5 stars green gem.

Full DEX for crit is useless. The crit damage of this build is very, very low, worst my base damage without crit. Evasion in high level is nothing (it’s not possible to evade magic attacks, and in these levels, most monsters has high magic damage).

I`ll raise my DEX to 130, for PVP purposes. I think with these equips and 130 DEX my crit rate will be near a full DEX build, keeping in mind the strange CRIT rate CAP.

Remember, STR scales better than DEX with archer. Full DEX = 367 / Full STR = 584.

Maybe be fun, but you will suffer in high level maps and events.

crit damage seems like a rubbish stat, so all you need to do is make up the extra physical attack. just use red gems instead.
