FS int Tao build

hey everyone, I would kindly request input on my pve support build which I hope is good for late game dungeons.

cleric c2> priest>krivis c3> miko> Tao

ps. bored of diev questing is a pain, not a fan of druids.

sorry not quite looking for class alternatives just asking does it fare well late game?

Well anything with Cleric 2 is support enough I guess but I wouldn’t call that “FS”. An example of full support would be Priest 3 full SPR Stone Skin, Diev 3-Krivis 3, PvP Kabba, or ,heck, anyhing with PD in it. Would you mind telling us the skill and stats of that build?

maybe healer with high damage would be a more appropriate description as to what I’m aiming for. max zaibas, Hamaya, and tao skills (which are expensive >=[) I suppose would be decent for damage. Whilst cleric 2 enough heals and priest 1 resurrect.

Krivis 3 end up with tao is strong for DPS. it’s okay as healer as long as your party is not squisy or too stupid

you will lack status prevention (although you can carry miko charm for yourself)
You also will lack damage mitigation aside from safety zone. But if you have diev 3 with you, then you know what to do

Well, the most you can be is an off-healer with Res capability. As it is right now, you’ll just play as a DPS that can bounce back your party up to prevent wipe. Supports usually stack buffs to prevent the party’s HP from dropping in the first place, or to magnify their damage some ten folds. Unless you plan to spam Storm Calling+Kagura Dance? In which case you’ll do less Zaibas and more Kagura channeling but your Fencer, Dragoon, Doppel buddies will love you. Oh almost forgot, everyone loves Daino.

oh I see, so prob is im more of a mage that can heal rather than a support diev is so slooow to play as but in dungeons its great I just got bored of diev. or trade miko for oracle with counterspell and prophecy could go more n line with my role?

there is nothing problem with your build. I just point out it’s strength amd what it lacks.

It’s always back to as long as your party is not too squisy or too stupid

this game is either:

  1. You are strong DPS so you can kill enemies quickly
  2. You are a really strong or dedicated healer (but this is not doing too well on PvP or GvG due to people one shotting others and also if the people on question is also too squishy)

edit: okay I take it back what I said on no 2… You know that good support with multiple invulnerability skills now when and how they put up buffs

Counterspell is okay for PvP I guess? I haven’t looked up on Oracle much sorry. But hey, take my word with a grain of salt. Don’t feel compelled to take out Miko for Oracle if you really want Miko. Less DPS doesn’t mean more support.

I’ll tell you this, each class in the cleric tree has at least 1 trademark DPS skill and 1 trademark support skill. Building your cleric focuses on utilizing and gearing/speccing towards these skills. I’ll list some of the stuff I know:

  1. Priest: Full SPR Stone Skin-Blessing-Mass Heal (Support), Full INT Heal-Cure-Magnus Exorcismus bomber (DPS)
  2. Paladin: Full CON Barrier tank (Off-Tank with no provoke skill), Full DEX Conviction-God Smash Inquisitor (DPS)
  3. Diev: World Tree-Ausrine CC (Support), Carve Owl (DPS)
  4. Druid: Sterea Trofh-Safety Zone invulnerability (Support, needs timing), Carnivory/Lycanthropy (DPS)
  5. Kabbalist: Ein Soph and Revenged (Support) eh, maybe Kabba doesn’t have as much DPS
  6. Oracle: Prophecy+Counterspell (anti ground Support)
  7. PD: Smokes and flames (DPS) Healing Factor and Cleanse (Support)
  8. Miko: Kagura Dance+Gohei (Support), Hamaya (DPS)
  9. Inquis: Who am I kidding, Inquis pumps damages everywhere
  10. Tao: Storm Calling enhances melee attacks and Dark Sight for AoE fade (Support), Creeping Death (DPS)
  11. Krivis: Daino Zalciai (Support), Zaibas (DPS)

hmm is oracle circle one any good in pve? how about a mix int spr build

cleric>priest c3> krivis c3> tao any good or just a complete mess nothing okay?

or perhaps even cleric c2, priest, krivis c2, druid c2> Tao since druid c2 has invuln AND sort of damage.

people go priest 3 for stone skin and major reason if they are full/high spr

Oracle works as a filler for counter spell and prohecy(it’s one circle wonder at the moment) but you are to decide.
and don’t go mix int spr. I can say this because I have ever go down that path.

maybe you should follow this meta build. And I know someone who follows this and it’s really good

Lack ressurection and again, status prevention. but eh… resurrection is only crucial on ET and only if your teammates dies quickly. aside from that, not really

Ohhh so that’s the build I’ve seen soloing Crystal Mine on youtube. If anything it’s more to the side of “One man army that knows exactly what they’re doing” that have full control over monster placement, invul rotation, and not getting hit by debuff in the first place. You won’t need Res and and status prevention if you don’t get hit in the first place, so to say.

However, if you’re looking for party play, I suggest going in the Miko-Priest variant simply for Gohei and Resurrection. Or maybe you can go PD2 and pick up some OP Healing Factor, Smoke+Burn, and Bloodletting.

mikos sweeping benefits taoist skills + as someone has already said synergies well in boosting melee so it seems nice.

the annoying things about taoist seems to be the items you need for your spells puts a drain on your silver and taoist don’t play well with pyro because taoist delete most of pyros damaging spells.
