I know a lot of us are frustrated because we love this game too much (or too little in its current state) to suck up our gripes with ToS. I’m a former super casual RO player, and I’ve played Wow and countless other free(mostly asian) mmo’s casually. I’m currently level 101 c1->kriv2->bokor with planned build c1kriv2bokor2c2PD. Here are my personal frustrations.

Focus on aoe farming vs. high xp single target farming. I’m totally fine with aoe, but when you need to kill 3-4 monsters to get .1% xp, when you’re 180 levels away from the current cap, it’s kinda frustrating. This also plays in to lag, dps drops, and problem with mob density. Some classes kill the mobs so fast, they just run around clearing areas without leaving anything for the guy 2 seconds later to the party. More difficult individual mobs will force people to focus on killing a single target for a longer period of time instead of running around like a bot ksing everything with a hit or two. Aoe can be used for let’s say semi-frequent champion enemies who spawn weaker mobs . This way both aoe and single target is useful for general grinding.

Promoting min/max builds and quickly alienating those who are not running them. I understand this is an mmo, and min maxing is normal, but for an mmo that boasts such class diversity, it feels like crap when you want to usee the diversity of the system and then findo out endgame you won’t get picked up by any parties because you don’t help them kill mobs 2 seconds faster. This ties in with my first point, where quick aoe farming is encouraged. And then there is earth tower, which completely craps on any build not designed to run it.

I know this sounds crazy, but I think class respec should be a thing. To all the hardcore “just make an alt for pvp” people, I’m 27, married, working and a full time student. Im on spring break so I found some rare time to enjoy some leveling. Knowing that I will forever be gimped in pvp and party pve, I’m a “solo” build and I can never full experience the game because I don’t have time to create alts for every specific purpose. Also, not knowing future classes and not knowing what will become of my character in future updates makes it difficult to justify the hundreds of hours I put into a character without the safety of respec. Honestly I will just quit and not play if I can’t enjof anything late game except solo play. Wow was super casual, but it was fun being able to respec and play different roles your class was designed to play (ex. Shaman can be a dps or healer, you can queue a dungeon as either, and depending on your gear, you can do either/or pretty well.)
That’s it for now, time to study. Please refrain from bashing, and discuss the points as objectively as possible. Feel free to post your own frustrations. This is a open discussion (minus trolls)

but oh well.
but I’m glad you do! It’s hard to get friends to play a cutesy anime game.
And for your first point, I don’t necessarily have a problem with the density more so the way farming is designed (weak enemies, hit and run for archers or waste a 30 second cd skill to kill a 10 hp mob with cleric for.001% xp promoting aoe farming). But I can relate to your frustration. But mob density for quest purposes was few and far between for me so I didn’t have much of a problem. But yes, a couple quests took kind of long.
