"Fresh New Start" DLC is out, 45$

45 euros / dollars / whatever

Basically it’s just for the stat reset. Comes with skill reset and some crappy pots. Right now with discount it’s 27 dollary-doos / euros. Less for BRs and SEAs I believe. Don’t care.

If you buy TP and convert them to medals (you can’t), it costs 999 medals for stat reset which would make the price for the stat reset from the TP store cost:

Which means it would cost around 80 dollars / euros for a simple stat reset. So, if IMC screwed up your build with recent changes right now is a prime time to buy a stat reset potion for only 27 dollars.

What I think?

Way too expensive for a feature that shouldn’t even be a cash shop exclusive. I’d rather reroll a character than buy one of these or reroll a Druid C3 since they have almost no silver sinks in attributes.

What I think the reasons for the pricing?

The price was set by the outcries and demand for such items + capitalism. Is this in itself bad? No

Is the price too high?

Yes. If anything the sale price should be the regular price.

Does this effect me in anyway?

No, other than setting a precedent for the company to set prices like this again. I could sit here and try to fight it, but Im 30+ years old. We are way past the slippery slope at this point in this industry. I just am a careful consumer now.

And please stop spamming the forums with such toxic threads. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. Stop complaining and trying to ruin the fun for others who don’t mind supporting the game.

My theory for the pricing.

The pricing will allow IMC to weed out those will invest in their toons and those who won’t. Allows them to determine who stays on their VIP no-ban list and who doesn’t.

It’s $67 CAD ($40 with discount), which is almost the same price as the original founder’s pack 1.

I think it would’ve been better if they took out the pots and just had the stat/skill reset as a pack for a reasonable $30 CAD. I’m not playing anymore, but I would’ve spent $15-20 on a stat or skill reset.

EDIT: All future DLC should come with mandatory stat/skill reset potion. This fresh start one should give 3 each!

I don’t care about price too much. If someone need to use it while don’t have any update about “stats-relate skill” or “stats itself” they need to pay it.

BUT

If this game have to update something stats relate. They have to force reset stats every char in account like RO or whatever other game. Not just give 1 free reset potion like last time.

If they want so high prices the game should at least work properly.

Imc´s evil master plan:

1)Sell overpriced reset potions
2)Screw up everyones stats/skills with every new patch
3) ???
4) Profit

No, bro. This isnt IMC’s master plan. This is the industry standard. Once you realize that, you’ll realize it’s a systematic issue.

Perhaps my generation is to blame, since my gen was the gen where video (PC/console) gaming really took off.

Unfortunately the generations before me, post WW2; have just generally misallocated wealth. Now it’s go for broke or rebuild and restart the system.

It will change. Whether it changes in a whole bunch of cataclysmic events or slowly dieing than being reborn is up to us.

I’m on SEA so… about 20 usd

I think I’d rather buy a juggernaut arcana than support IMC after all that.

The name of the DLC said for itself. You buy it and start fresh. After awhile, you will need stat and skill reset no matter what you plan to do with your build. :joy:

hah, for that price you can also reroll your char by buying 4 tokens and relevel up to max level during this period of time. The Token also benefits all your chars, while this pack just grants 1 skillreset and 1 statreset (we got skillreset for the price of one Token in TP shop and a free 14 days statreset potion per account as compensation) for 1 specific character. This means that rerolling is ± the best option (unless you got an awakened weapon on your char already and didn’t use the free statreset on that char).

Basically, we pay ~7 Euros for the skillreset (99 TP) and the rest [~20 Euros atm, ~38 Euros later on for EU/NA] for the statreset. I don’t count in the free stuff because it is declared a “free addition”, thus may not be included into the price calculation.

It’s funny, however, that IMC has yet to reveal how it wants to rebalance the stats. This might be a clever trap laid out to make the people who fear for their builds jump the train and buy the pack while it’s still “cheap” to be able to change their stats&skills according to the changes made by IMC for the Stat-rework of INT,STR and SPR.
