Fresh Idea, A patch (today) for 1 hour that simply reverts ALL changes in the problem patch

Fresh Idea: A patch (today) for 1 hour downtime that simply reverts ALL changes in the problem patch.

Refund the TP for anyone who brought the cash shop item, remove the items added from it, everyone gets to play again and they can redeploy this patch once they figure out what’s actually wrong with it.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all play again, simply at the price of the new item from the patch. I think we’d all be willing to pay that price.

Get all up in here and leave your thoughts about just making the game playable with this one simple revert patch, or even if you hate it.

I think they cant do that since they didnt when the DPK bug happened.

You must be thinking of a diffrent patch https://treeofsavior.com/page/news/view.php?n=1008 this is the one I am refering too nothing about DPK in here.
The DPK solving patches were other ones.

Not that, the point is i dont think they make backups before deploying new stuff, else they would have reverted the DPK Patch bug to previous one too.

I cannot believe that imc don’t use git… This is so essential to me. Would avoid problems like this.

If it’s just a modifier to drop rate they can just change that any time without doing a patch.

People suspected that we accidentally got the weekend DPK drop rate modifier that KToS gets and that was the cause of the problem, setting the value back and locking it should be all it takes.

I don’t roll cubes, but I’m under the impression that those wedding outfits are rare and anyone who gets their cubes refunded, but loses their rolls would probably be in a world of rage for different reasons.

I suppose if the models for the outfits were in the game before the Cash Shop item to get them (very possible! games do this a lot.) then they could actually keep them, and we could have the revert patch as well! Win/Win.
