So I decided to go Corsair instead of C3 Barb and I was wondering if Frenzy is worth it at all if I didn’t go C3 since I don’t have access to the attribute? I have 9 Skill Points left and trying to decide if i should just max Helm Chopper for Strike dmg or put some in frenzy before doing so
Frenzy doesn’t seem worth r the amount of hits needed to reach a small bonus of damage, stacks will fall off.
Well Frenzy helps you on bosses. so id say it is worth it . its damage to all your skills.
for C2 Barb frenzy doesn’t do much.
- you don’t have the barb c3 attribute
- Your Frenzy Lasts 40 seconds
- You waste some of that 40 seconds charging your stacks, but it should be fast with corsair c2.
If we get ktos cooldown reductions it might be worth

With Seism and at least lv 5 Helm Chopper, you don’t have any problem destroying mobs already.
And on boss, lv 5 Frenzy is +150 attack, which is actually higher than lv 5 War Cry (up to 125 with full upgrade, the extra target requires c3), the 10 stacks isn’t that hard to get up (btw, the stack only drops to 1 if your normal attack hit another enemy, so if you build up multiple stacks on one enemy and only use skills after, you don’t lose the stacks)
That was one of my worries, idk about late game but from what I saw bosses usually had minions or traps that could throw it off if you hit them with some area attack and i thought stacks would drop. If skills dont make them drop thats a good thing to know
You can always move out of the boss’s trap AoEs (usually you don’t want to stay near them anyway.
Usually how it plays out is:
Boss drop traps on you (even the annoying Silence trap is fine, Warcry’s AoE is decently big)
Warcry then Frenzy (just be careful with warcry’s long animation)
Attack and lure boss away from traps so you don’t accidentally hit them
Enjoy the 5 stacks Warcry (95-125 attack) and Frenzy (15-150 attack, you always have at least 1 stack)
