You say businesses wont do refunds, have you ever played TERA Online?
I’ve gotten over 600 hours on it, and many of times ive talked to the support staff and had premium items refunded/ transferred to other characters.
Ofc we cant expect this from IMC, they barely allow us to trade normal items between ower own characters. But never-the-less, it is out there that some game companies do care

Sometimes i think people here never played an online game before.
Events are scheduled/programmed before launch, even before people started the exploit shitstorm, events were already on imc’s pipeline.

I used to work in customer relations, it was a hard, frustrating job but I was very good at it.

Stupid knows no gender.
You could be a guy or a girl or somewhere else on the gender spectrum for all I know. I don’t give two cents about what a person’s gender is, sorry to disappoint but I’m not one of those tumblrfeministextremists who think only women deserve to walk the earth.
But I am a feminist and I don’t have any problems admitting it. I think women deserve to be treated with respect, just like any other individual. Unfortunately I live in a place where that’s not really the case.

And if the customer doesn’t complain about poor service, it doesn’t improve. However, yelling just gets a person ignored.
Who knows, maybe that’s exactly what they’ve been told.
Maybe they just have stock answers and that’s all they’re allowed to use unless it’s a specific instance they don’t already have a premade answer for (which is really common with the lower tier of support, it’s the higher lvl employees that usually can actually do something but that’s kind of obvious).

Using tumblr and being a being a feminist have nothing to do with each other, someone else was accusing me of being a tumblrfemnist which made me lol earlier. Feminist isn’t a dirty word or a bad thing, just like everything though some people take it too far.
Customers need to speak up if they’re unsatisfied with the service. The few times that the higher ups actually DO speak up is when there’s well written/thought out posts. That alone should tell people something.
