Free companion vs Shop pet

What’s the difference between the free companion/pet that you get in the quest , and the ones that are being sold in the NPC (companion trainer) ?.

I’m a level 82 swordsman and would like to ask if I should buy the 110k pet or just stick to my quest companion which is level 40.

Thank you for the ones who will answer

Pet with same name have no difference.

So should i just stick with this quest pet that I’ve got ?

Sure, same pet.
New needed if you make wrong pet stats.

I thought this thread is about the pet on the cash shop which will come soon.

I’m curious about that… what will happen if there is an adorable companion but I don’t want to spent another decade to level him up. I rather want them to be Costume so i don’t need to ignore my old companion.

Pet quest? I’m lvl 67 and haven’t found any, i was even considering on buy the cheapest one…

Just a heads up, having a companion takes up a character slot in your lodge (cause pets are like family y’know? :smile_cat:)

Seriously though, they do take a slot so just keep that in mind before you buy.

Is the companion from quest and the pet that is being sold like 110k the same ?

Likely, by quest he means the one(s) you get for taking a class that is heavily pet focused. I.E. Hunter gives you a voucher for the velheider. IIRC, cataphract and schwarz reiter one as well.

Edit: Falconer also gets a falcon voucher.

Pets do differ stat wise:
Veihelder has more base HP while Hoglan has higher base crit rate, evasion and accuracy.

That is important since pets’ stats’ growth with level depends on base stats. Training your pet for higher stats does not affect growth rate.

I’m referring to the pet that I got when i was level 30 or 40 i think.
