Forum Scrolling, ForumLoginOptions, Non-Steam GameLogin?

Hi,
I had a few things weighing on my mind a little bit here.

-I dislike the twitter facebook infinite scrolling style. I have seen in topics you could jump pages but it really does bug me and would like a locked page layout where I could instantly scroll to the bottom and not have to load a bunch of other nonsense and be able to jump pages quickly and efficiently like normal forums do.

-Another thing I dislike is the forum login section is strictly through third parties? What happened to good old fashioned make an account on said website and log in on said website? I feel as though people are trying too hard to link everything everyone does together.

-Is there a possible way to have a direct download through your website and in-game login without the use of Steam? Again I dislike linking everything together and the 1 account for everything method. I am leaning more along the lines of not playing atm just because it is through Steam and assuming you guys want to maximize your playerbase, it might be something you guys want to think about doing.
PS Any users who are disgruntled about my comments about Steam, please refrain from posting please. Thanks~

Well, I’m not disgruntled, but I do feel differently about some of those things so I guess that means I can still post >_<

I don’t mind the continuous page scroll now that I’ve gotten used to it. I actually find it a bit nicer.

I agree about the third party login being a bit weird. I wonder how this will work with creating an account in the game =o I have a feeling there may be plans to link our “team name” ingame with our third party profile like used for the forum @_@ I don’t really have any feelings about it lol but I bet it would encourage people to behave! having the same name for all characters and having that linked to their FB or whatever XD

I would like a direct DL too and not have to have steam running for any reason. Just because I’m on a pretty low spec laptop…

Point 1: Have you used the function in the lower right of a comment to jump straight to the bottom? Or do you mean you just have an issue with the loading on tread with ~100 replys.
Point 2: I like having account linking. Makes things easier. Plus its easier for them to verify stuff.
Point 3: I love the fact that its apart of steam. I do however agree with you on the part of having a separate DL from the website with launcher. Just for when steam is messed up or my account. Or if I just don’t want it running. Also, do you have issues with steam? I just don’t see how that can make or break playing a game if steam distributes it. Like is it that steam doesn’t work for you or do not like steam for a reason?
