Fortune Cookie’s timer didn’t stop when you in the mission/dungeon queue or in city!!

Beware of wasting your cookies!!! :open_mouth:

ps. holycow! , it not even stop when you’re not in game

yep , I went character select earlier after a mercenary mission to take lunch cookie timer is more or less 20mins. I came back boom, no more cookie buff.

Tested again, used a cookie, went to lodge afk for about 5-6 minutes. Bam XD timer went down as well.

its just like the normal exp tome…timer doesn’t stop for anything

Normal tome usually stops when you go on lodge or you log out. This one doesn’t stop :stuck_out_tongue:

For fun I’ll test it again one more time 11m35s on my tome, I’ll use my other toon on a mission dungeon. :slight_smile: We’ll see (third time test)

all EXP tome’s timer stop when you in the que and in the city

they changed the normal exp tome too? oh well.

you should add that it does not say anywhere on the fortune cookie that it’d work like x4 and x8 tome.

it should somehow stop when you go to lodge/ use another toon right? but it doesn’t. Time is still ticking XD

Yup,

I want to see a statement that cookies work like exp tomes. Unless we get that, it is safe to assume that alot of people got IMC’ed here.

How have the other holiday event items worked? They all seemed to have timers. But sure IMC should make this more clear. But the precedents is already present.

you guys are missing the point.

used correctly you can practically get several hours of 4x exp buffs.

use like 4 cookies for 120%, use +1 when it’s about to expire for 150%, by this time the buff has already lasted close to an hour, use +1 to reset the timer for 1.5 hours of exp buff and then reset again for 2 hours etc.

these cookies were practically made for long grind parties.

I wonder if i would stay hell of 2 and half hours solo leveling just to get the full beenefit of cookies…
But i might give it a shot tomorrow i have nothing better to do anyway
