If it says the 24 that means that after the maintenance end that day…
ToS main maint (and I use the term main loosely) happen every tuesday…

Fortune Cookies will not expire on the 24th or even after the said date. However, the ‘New Years’ Fortune event’ will end on January 24, 2017.

So all the rewards you get from opening 10,20,30 fortune cookies will go away on the 24th, not the fortune cookies!

wow, how hard is it to post this information officially from patch notes or a gm reply on the forums? one needs to send a ticket to know if cookies expire?
it could have searched the answer in forum or in the previous maint news…
