Have you tried to F5-> Abandon quest, change channel -> redo quest?
Maybe it will fix.

I tried abandoning the quest, however, when I clicked my quest items, I can’t seem to abandon this one-the option to hit it just IS NOT THERE.

I tried relogging, that didn’t work.

This is a strange bug

Are you able to interact with Premier eminent at his current location? Perhaps you could try non-joypad mode (keyboard, mouse), sometimes it fixes some quests-NPC interactions.

I can interact with him, but he won’t set the flag I need for the quest. Right now, I’m not on game-I got sick of hitting my head against a wall for an hour so I’m doing something else.

I typically swap between KB and Joypad as needed-I’ve noticed somethings respond better to other input methods. From a game systems standpoint, I APPEAR to have the wrong instance of the NPC.

PRETTY SURE this is a Flag issue.

I’ve modded many games, and in most of them, each time an NPC does anything, it’s essentially an entirely new ‘object’ (or instance if you will) of that object. What seems to be going on here is that the quest I’m on is referencing the NPC Object for when he next moves, but the flag is tied to his previous location, thus preventing quest progress. Now it’s possible that’s not what’s going on here, but from my experience, I’d look to see if the quest is supposed to reference CharacterID#X and is INSTEAD referencing CharacterID#Y, or if somehow all instances of CharacterID#X were replaced in a recent fix of something else. Since the Flag is tied to CharacterID#X Player Interaction IF, and there’s no character to interact with, I’m basically boned.

In other news… replying too quickly, really? >.>

On the plus side, I’ve leveled to 224 and this is really the first bug I’ve encountered. It’s kind’ve a show stopper, though, and that’s not super great.

up… The problem still persists

It’s fixed for me today. Something about the server reset on my end. But if other people are still having issues, they need to keep looking into this.
