Forced double-attack (solved, it's a ping issue)

Solved: I could solve this issue by trying out ping-reducing programs like Pingzapper. It was a lag problem after all.

Date and Time : Tuesday, 19 April, 2016

Game Control Mode (Keyboard/Joypad/Mouse) : Keyboard and gamepad.

Where it happened (which map, which quest, which npc, etc) : Everywhere.

Bug Description :
Pressing any basic attack button once forces your character to do 2 swings at least 70% of the time.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Attack

I think this is due the delay between the server and the player…the system must be thinking that you pressed Z button for more time, is not a big deal tough…

It is a decent deal to me because I do jump attacks a lot to chase monsters and break tree root crystals without stopping and the second swing screws up everything, which is specially annoying as a swordsman because it stops your double-tap running.

Also, this never happened to me before until 2 days ago and is incredibly consistent, so I’m not sure this is lag-related.

Check your ping thats probably the issue…

This is due to latency.

Besides improving your ping there’s not much you (or IMC) can do to fix it.

For a better you can use WTFast

You guys were completely right. Tried out pingzapper and the issue went poof. Thanks a lot
