For the record: this is what barbarians used to be

IMC could have kept Pyro and Cryo as strong as they are in kCBT1-2. Now all wizard need to take linkers to be strong.

and then IMC might nerf linkers.

Wizards aren’t weak imo, just showing how barb is out of the league even with something as strong as pyro(by normal standards).
How are you going to buff pyro to be more like barb?

Pyro who’s meant to be strong dps overtime kills bosses in much more
longer time than a barb does. On average I needed about 3-4 resets with
barb. With any other class many many more.

What about it? Other classes need some 10-15 resets. Barb is doing more dmg over time than Pyro is, by a mile.

I would give it more burst like making the fire balls themselves explode with flare as skill combo.

Then you’re defeating the entire purpose of the class and how it plays.

So the answer to this problem is , make every class burst dmg. Legit.
Paladin is fine- because it’s burst damage.
Mage- Just add some burst.
Archer- hmm yeah lacking burst.

not the clerics, but really more for archers. wizards seem fine if they take linker class

You said it yourself, they do damage over time. Of course its gonna take more time to kill ■■■■ than burst.

You’ve got it the other way around. Burst is situational, you skill attack something and then you wait a long time.
Dmg Over time does smaller damage now , but higher damage over time, which isn’t happening.

i dont really like paladin to get damage, i want paladin to get a provoke skill at least at c3

Archer isn’t lacking burst, he is lacking aoe. Unless you drink potions 24/7 and spam oblique shot, which falls off pretty quickly. If you go something like
ac2 > hunter , then you’re stuck without any aoe OR dps for long time.
ac > ranger is Ok-ish midgame.
Sapper isn’t the worst, but it becomes more melee. You’re playing “catch n run” with mobs.
Wughusi is decent.

well yeah stuck with a shield and crossbow which naturally gives less dps. The stone shot hits 2 targets for moderate damage, but that’s just an upgraded version of oblique shot which drains sp like mofo.

i wanted QS to get more block buff. essentialy make it a closs quarters archer that rely on block hence making i plausible to built it CON

getting stone and shooting them is practical for me in their design

it just that QS needs to be mor incentive for defense like giving more natural block to stand behind the pavise as the real pavise xbowmen did in the old times in history.

I’m aware I’ve played chivalry which had similiar unit design.

Archers need to be buffed…Simple as that, I dont know why people keep trying to argue that they dont
