For my SW1-Pel2-Hop2-x-Dragoon3, is Doppel or Hop3 is better?

I just use the returned free rank reset, i only intend to play PvE casually and right now im at SW1-Pel2-Hop2 and not sure what to choose next:

It seem Hop3 increase Finestra a bit and Stabbing is stronger, and have 20% damage against medium mob

While Doppel have Cyclone and DoV, and Double Pay Earn is quite interesting in Siaulai mission when i play 2 years ago, but when i read some guide they say just ignore Doppel?

Also for stats, is it ok to go full STR or i need a bit of CON. Thanks in advance

PVE Doppel.

PVP Hop3.

At least 50 CON for PVE, 100+ for PVP.

SW1-Pel2-Hop3-Dragoon3.

Cookie Cutter velcoffer dragoon.

Face tank everything except pool (actually you can face tank it too, but don’t)

this makes it easier for you and your party once velcoffer is dragged into a corner.

BUT since you said you play casually, what do you actually mean by that? saalus/dailies>log off?

this is by the way a lower investment build that can be very effective

you don’t really want to miss that hop3 stabbing, imo even barb 1 is also good for boosting your dragon soar

Since ktest/ktos DB is down, could you please help me a little here?

I’m thinking of a similar build but with Cata1 for mobility in general content, what would I lose by not going Pel2? Would I not be capable of doing Velc anymore?

Hop3, stabbing is def worth it and more crit is always welcomed.

DPE lvl5 can be cumbersome to use at times, but if you are playing casually and not really focused on the heavy end game content, it really wouldn’t matter too much. Go dop for an extra costume np.

Still capable, but you can’t be careless when guardian is down.

Pelt 2 is almost 100% uptime + high guard, and more swash count.

In my opinion,
Dop1 good for filler class, with cyclone5 Dov5 DoublePayEarn5…good for farming like taunt mobs and dragonfall with one hit kill.

Hop3 - stabbing pretty good with new attribute on C3 , not +20% only medium mob, I think it good for bossing

but optional for you Pelt3 is good too - Umbo thrust for break down boss def and maximum Swash Buckling for farming.

*** for meI love combo Umbo thrust+ serpentine for dragon soar // Umbo thrust + spear lunge for Dragon fall

Actually i return to ToS and some other games to playthrough the story, run through the less popular area which in the past i always skip, i know that the story of most mmo game is not as good as single player game but still. But even if i do not really intend to do end game stuff, i always prefer to use a build that can be good at it incase i change my mind, “knowing that future is good make today better” or some fortune cookie &^%$ like that.

Seem Hop3 or Dop1 or even Pel3 is all viable, but i guess i will go with Hop3, because it’s the same with fashion, i like the “pure” theme, go full spear for the sake of roleplay, thankfully Hop3 is a good choice.
