Fireball wastes hits after enemies die

Game Control Mode (Keyboard/Joypad/Mouse) : Mouse

Where it happened (which map, which quest, which npc, etc) : any, currently Gele Plateau

Bug Description :
Fireball keeps counting hits even if no monsters are nearby. Description implies that hits are only counted when enemies are hit, but in fact it doesn’t stop hitting after enemies die.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Have at least fireball lvl2 (2 hits)
  2. Hit a monster that dies in less than your maximal hit count
  3. Observe fireball disappearing even though one hit should have been left
