🔥 What builds will you guys be resetting to?

Since rank reset is almost here (probably before the year ends), what builds will you guys be resetting to?

To make the thread cleaner, I suggest the following format (as an example):

Old: Sw3 Cata3 Goon2
New: Sw3 Cata3 Corsair1 Lancer1
Reason: Nah, just to change things up a bit. (feel free to write a longer explanation)

Whenever I have time, I will update this thread, listing the most popular new builds.

All classes are welcome to post. Don’t be shy, share yours! Who knows, you might even get good feedback to further refine the build you’ve been considering.

ps I’m still unsure about what I’ll be resetting to but I will definitely post my decision here later.

I have a messed up Sorc: Wiz > Piro 2 > Linker > Alch > Sorc2 trying to reach R8 at least so i would have it done correctly.

Going for Wiz > Piro 2 > Linker 2 > Sorc 2 > Sage

My 1st character had completely messed up stats (tried to generalize and hybrid int/str ugh), but I had some cosmetics on the character that were character bound I didn’t want to lose, so I’d kept him around :S

I took this opportunity to drag him to rank 6 with the intention of just making him a buff shop pardoner lol Since I’m too cheap to buy a stat reset potion. If for some reason they put forward a reasonable option for that, I might consider rolling something different. Rank 6 doesn’t hurt either way.

Old build was Cleric 1 Krivis 2 Paladin 2

Wanted to make a bosskiller (A2>QS3>Scout>Musk2) but single target is finally not for me ~

Wil maybe go to A2>Sapper>Scout>Rogue>Falc3

An Arch2>Hunter>Scout3>Hunter2>Mergen to Arch3>Ranger>Scout3>Mergen
Or maybe my first character, an Arch3>Wugushi2>Falconer>Musk to Arch>QS3>Wugushi3>Hackapel.
Any sugestions?

I think I’ll either reset my A2-QS-Sc-Rogue-Falc-Musk2 to either a QS3-Falc3 (already building a QS3 to see how it is) or a… Well the other option is still under thought.

I could also reset my C2-Bokor2-Diev-Druid3 to a diev3-druid3 to make boss hunting easier; but I haven’t decided yet

I was thinking to reset my c2-diev2-monk3-inqui into Cleric 2 - diev 2- monk3 - miko.

I just really dont like inquisitor even though it is strong. I end up using Monk skills more cuz I like them a lot

I will also join the Miko-Train and also switch from Bokor 3 to Diev 3.

Old: Cleric 2 -> Bokor 3 -> Döner Kebab -> Doctor 2
New: Cleric 2 -> Diev 3 -> Kannushi -> Doctor 2
Reason: Didn’t want to wait for Miko and guessed there will be a reset one day, people said there will never be a class reset but I didn’t care.

I am thinking of resetting my current sorc which is currently messed up
old build: wiz-pyro2-linker-sorc2-alche
new build: wiz2-linker-thauma2-sorc3

might be a useless build, but its still something in my opinion

EDIT: Matching with the desired format.

Old: Wiz -> Pyro 3 -> Chrono 3 -> Enchanter
New: Wiz -> Pyro 2 -> Kino 3 -> Sage OR Wiz -> Wiz/Pyro -> Kino 3 -> Chrono 3

Reason: The most recent kToS patch may have harmed PyroChrono’s synergy completely. If the synergy remains the same I’ll reset my Chaplain instead.

I like this one better, but it’s gonna be gear-dependent I think so you’ll likely go high STR or hybrid to maximize poison damage output while having decent crit rate for Running Shot and Hacka skills.

Nevertheless, looks like a build that will still deal decent damage regardless of crit rate. Also has great sustained single target, AOE and some burst.

My experience with QS3 has been great so far. The utility with Pavise and Caltrops plus mobility with Running Shot is really fun. Falcon1’s Circling + lv.10 Multishot provides you the AOE capability you’re missing. Falcon2 is quite boring IMO. Perhaps Falcon3 will be rewarding as I expect.

C2 Diev3 Miko Kabal Inqui? :slight_smile:

Fixed it. Na my main will stay the Fire Doctor because I like to burn stuff and Pyro just ticks and doesn’t burn.

For the Inquisitor I also have my soon to be Miko ready but I will probably not go for Kaba, not sure about that tho.

On my Wugu/Hackapell build i would focus on STR to maximize the poison damage. Being able to use mounts would help to minimize the lack of survivability and being able to use swords on off-hand woud give me more slots on gems.
QS 3 can do a decent amount of damage even on a no dex build if i do well in between poison stacks.
