A friend is too lazy to start an account here so let me ask. We’ve heard there are mobs (or rather there will be?) that are immune to link.
Is there a way to circumvent this issue? Would summoning a fireball near mobs and targeting it with link instead work and connect through the mobs?

No. You can not link unlinkable mosters to linkable targets. There is just nothing you can do.
Workaround = Move to a map where you CAN link them.
You can’t link temple slaves in Investigation Room, but you can do on Workshop, you can’t link Nuos in Maven, but you can link the mobs in Khonot Forest.
Also, you don’t need to deal with magic mobs in Khonot, neither archers, it’s all melee mob.
People complain about this “issue”, but never try to find a solution to it that is so simple.
nice, i like to way you think… most ppl always complain about what they can not do. nothing 100% perfect and we have to deal with it. as a linker, i have never had a problem with it. if i can not link it, just fight with it in the other way.
