It doesn’t have to be tradeable via market or 1:1. Just transferable through Team Storage.

It already has a 14-day expiry, so we can’t even save it up for the future in case the meta messes up our builds.

It’s a new char so for most it’ll be very unlikely to mess up the skills and stats. Usually it’s the old chars that are messed up due to ever-changing meta.

Very high level or max level chars aren’t able to open the chest up to those reset potions. 120 TP is nice for buying Skill Reset at least.

This event made a few people comeback even if temporarily. At least make their effort worth it and give them reason to stay a little bit longer.

I know you guys are trying to turn things around even at the speed at which the game has been losing players. This was a good start. At least don’t f*** it up for the oldies.

Ugh. So our forum/in-game names should be literal, descriptive representations of what we are now. :confused: You don’t even know how I arrived at such a name.

A sensible and constructive comment about the topic could help instead. This isn’t even a troll/hue post.

I’ll just assume you misclicked, didn’t read sh~t, and decided to act in the same way like the people you’re so zealously against in these forums.

The resets are spent already by many. Move on to the next iteration.

Yeah, I guess it’s a little too late now but this should at least give them an idea on how a similar event in the future should be.

It just doesn’t make sense for old players to roll new chars with char-bound AND time-limited reset pots from events like this.

Heck, I don’t even mind if it’s just 1 per team as long as its transferable via team storage and/or have no time limit.

That’s what i tried to tell you, it makes sense.

Only because you think the game is dead and there are only old players, they should just make events for them. That’s asinine.

I’ve had the chance to go and fix 7 of my alts(decided new builds based on experience instead of theory) and create two entire new characters and text things, knowing i would get the potions.

I’ve seen new players (what???that even exists???) and they were happy to fix their mistakes as well.

So, imc creates an event that gives a dozen reset potions for free and somehow it’s about the main/high lvl alt that couldn’t get one…

That’s why i’m grouping you with the crybabies, events aren’t only about you or what you think the game should be.

Relax mate. When you have 320+ main and alts, the only way to get to those reset pots is to roll a new alt.

Or maybe you don’t like old players rolling new alts. I think new players appreciate having more people (w/ vouchers especially) to queue with. :confused:

Save your energy, WK’s don’t like suggestions because it implies something is wrong. I agree screwing high level chars out of those reset pots is…very annoying.

I’d agree with your point if this wasn’t a lvl up event that allows players to get max prize on every character below the lost 9 lvls. The event also gives numerous Abrasives and Silver Anvils,that can be “abused”

If they make an event that gives one Reset per account,them hell yeah they should make it team transferable.

The reason for the difference is what i think you’re missing . The real prize was leveled alts+anvil+abrasives. The resets were just an extra, and i think it’s fine like that.

I don’t think final rewards are considered mere extras, or else they would’ve just put those reset pots at earlier chest levels.

Anyways, I’m all for helping new players, but maybe not forget the old ones as well. We’re ones who have already spent money on the game (at least I know I have).

I’m playing since beta and this was the best event yet for me, for many reasons.

The multiple abrasives and silver for my main.
The 120 TP so i can buy more char slots without money
Seen lots of new players on the dungeons while rushing my alts to get abrasives(for gems for my main’s new set)
Now i have 4 new alts to do Saalus(to feed shard for main).And Shop characters that before i was too lazy to make

There was plenty for older players. /\

Saalus/endgame gearing being a shitty repetitive chore doesn’t have anything to do with the event, aka the point.

No, thanks. I’m oldy (from CBT1) and chest event was absolutely great. Resets being transferable or unexpired is absolutely broken.

Because you could’ve cleared the whole 10 chests event in 2 hours with newly created character. And if reset potions were transferable, you could have easily reset all you high lv characters. In fact, I’ve cleared that chest event like 20-25 times with new chars.

Create new character - Solo easy peasy grind to LV ~105 - All 10 chests are open - ~500k silver from clearing 50 and 80 lv dungeons - 5 abbrasives from lv9 chest - use abbrasives on gem, put earned silver and upgraded gem in team storage - us silver anvil from lv10 chest on you best item from other character - delete this new lv 105 character - create new one. Repeat infinitely.

And the only reason I’v cleared it with other 17 characters I have - to recieve reset potions for them.

So basically, you found a flaw in that existing system and “took advantage” of it, and you whine how making just the reset pots transferable or unexpired would be “absolutely broken”. Seems fair. :confused:

@STAFF_Letitia @STAFF_Amy @STAFF_Yuri @STAFF_Ethan @GM_Francis @GM_Sebastian Apparently there was a flaw in your Level Up Chest event’s format. The quote above explains it. You should reward this guy for discovering it or something.

Anyhoo back on topic, they could just limit the max number of chests by 4 (or whatever # is the max free team slots before you’re buying another slot) per team. Seems fair right? Of course those who already have full slots with 320+ characters would be forced to buy a slot with TP. This also prevents the “flaw” that you seemed enjoy.

It was an obvious feature anyone having a common sense could’ve realized. And it required you actually playing the game the whole process. Sorry for you not being smart enough to find out obvious things.

There are only 20 slots for chars, and I’ve already bought all of 'em with TP. That’s why I had to create/delete characters - no more slots.

Bottomline: free resets kill the whole meaning of this game. And you are crying for free resets.
