Finestra INT bonus

Did anyone try this out and see how it worked? I didn’t have any INT and I was already high level by the time I thought of trying it so I couldn’t exactly put points in INT.

If it works exactly as it says… you would need a ridiculous amount of INT for it to help. Yet the problem is that your INT doesn’t help you for anything else.

Does anyone know if you can get more than 10% bonus by learning the attribute multiple times?

This makes me think that… in later circles there will be a magic knight class. Or at least there might be rare weapons that let you do magic melee damage via your INT stat.

This means you could build a… very difficult to level, INT/DEX swordsman who specs into 15/15 Finestra and goes the magic knight. You roll spear/shield or spear/dagger (Maybe subweapon cancel?) and do hybrid magic/physical attacks based off your INT’s magic attack and your finestra INT -> Phys attack bonus.

“Chance of Critical, Block is increased while Evasion decreases.”

did they change the skill at the icbt? actually I didnt check it… at the last cbt.
Why did you point out that INT would be needed for this skill? I’m just confused @.@ tested a hoplite at kr cbt 3 and didn’t put one point to INT… just curious :3 !

Check this page here:

There is an attribute:
Finestra: Physical Damage
10% of character’s INT is added to physical damage while [Finestra] is enabled.

It seems like you can only take it once (since it doesn’t say “Per attribute Level”).

But lets say there is a magic knight later on which does physical and magic damage. You might want 500+ Int for your attacks, and if you can use spear/shield while doing your magic stuff you might as well pick up Hoplite and get Finestra. It’s a free +50 damage with that much Int. If you can upgrade Finestra more, or just get more INT, then it’s just more free damage for a magical knight type character.

If a magic knight doesn’t exist. it seems completely useless. No one will ever put into INT as a swordie.

AH, an attribute, sorry… I missread it.
Now I get what you were asking… I guess there is an intention behind it, regarding other classes with similar attributes of skills etc.
But yeah, sounds eligible, cause Hoplites shine with their variety in active skills, so they benefit from magical skill dmg too I guess. Which is the opposite with for example Barbarians, which shine via auto attacks = STR.
Hmm… maybe I’ll try that at the next cbt. good contribution, sounds interessting

Not your fault. I was not, at all, clear.

Nah, could have just investigated / datamined more, instead of asking dumb questions :'D

it’s only 10% of your INT while FINESTRA is active. And I leveled a pure DEX Hoplite to 133 on kCBT. STR isn’t needed for Hoplites as much as raw Crit Damage is.

I’m sure Barbarians shine more from dex and raw Crit damage. I always seen them hitting 300s and critting 1200s quite often.

I was thinking about trying a DEX Krivis in the next CBT, do you think it would work well if i leveled the Crit damage buff/Crit resist debuff all the way to level 15?

Yeah but the raw crit dmg is increased by investing points in STR or am I wrong? And cause of the aggressor skill which increases your crit % it would be more useful to invest in hard crits right? But yeah, at kr cbt 3 the majority of barbs were high DEX based ones… U are right

It wouldn’t be worth it. Physical Attack and and Magic Attack is 1 to 1, but 10% of int would be 1/10. The Attribute would need no max limit to be worth it and it would cost thousands of coin. The skills from the physical magic class would have to have either low cool down or high damage scale plus aoe.

I mean you get like 1 point of crit damage per STR, iirc, not really worth it. You can have rank 7 yellow gems in your weapon/shield. red gems in your gloves. and you’d have a crap ton of crit damage.

I would go for Int/Dex atleast. I would keep a mace and rod on you.

More so a mace to deal damage in your downtime between your lightning nuke which is amazing when you get to Krivis2 and get the splash attribute for it.

Your crit damage buff will also give +48 magic amplification with attributes. You can also wear cloth gloves that give +magic amp as well.

The only skills I found useful were the lightning attack, the crit buff and the mark that gives about +100 str/int at lvl15. So yes, I’d say it’s worth it.

Yeah, it’s not even about just the crit rate, it’s about accuracy and evasion as well. The only mobs that would hit you would be magical, and they die in a hit anyways, lol.

Ah ok. Thanks for clarifying this, then its really not worth it like the play flow of the game states it atm. Didn’t think of gems yet either… What are the given +stats exactly from a rank 7 gem? Do you happen to know that too ? C:

I actually don’t remember, I wish I had taken more screencast shots. I only have one for the green gem.

Yellow ones gave crit dmg on primary and secondary weapon (-crit rate). Red gems gave crit dmg (-accuracy) on gloves.

so i’m confused, what the hell is the point in the STR stat then? It seems like it is kinda useless if everyone that is physical damage just pumps all Dex.

I saw that on Finestra Attributes. It seems pretty useless indeed.

Who the hell will ever put a single INT point on a Swordman ‘-’

Why don’t put it like 5% STR and 5% DEX ? What do you think guys ?

It should be 10% SPR per Attribute capping at 50%

You don’t gotta pump all dex, lol. You can have a balance.
