I wasn’t able to get in any of the betas, and by the time i noticed the game was released, IMC had closed down registration! Now we’ve finally been told they’re opening the servers next week and I can finally play! I played RO years ago in it’s glory days back before there were even second jobs! I’m heartily looking forward to this game!

Hey, one of my favorite jobs in RO was the crusader, I loved the shield skills, and I love being a tank! I heard swordsman is in a bad place right now but with the most recent Q&A it looks like IMC plans to give them a much needed buff into relevance.

Yeah from my experience my Hoplite3 is fun but he gets no taunts, mediocre damage mitigation and less dps than other classes and the only way you can use your shield block stance is to go Peltasta. I know they’re buffing the damage but haven’t seen anything regarding making tanking stuff more available. Easier to just have a superhealer Cleric.
When you visit the forum for some useful info or news, but all you see is hate threads and ■■■■ posts.

Glad to see some enthusiasm. Game is still a work in progress in some areas (but aren’t all games???) but it’s a lot of fun. If you have any questions feel free to ask and most of us will try to answer.
Well if you haven’t already planned your character and build, i suggest you go to the TOSBASE fansite and take a look at several things, also stay away from the forums… alot of the topics on here would definately discourage u from playing the game…
I’ll just stick to what you suggested then, sounds like a sound plan.
