Meanwhile GMs don’t give a ■■■■ and release lists of lvl 10- banned bots and think it actually means something.
And then they say “Oh, we can’t add captcha because the bots will bypass it”.
FFS, these GMs remind me of computer illiterate old fogies with computers littered with malware who click every pop-up.
It’s a ■■■■■■■ captcha! You are saying that captha’s implemented in so many contexts have no purpose at all WTF! Like where the ■■■■ is your brain!?
Just say the truth and say we are too lazy to implement captha’s and would rather waste money and manpower to ban 1% of the bots.
Just enforce a captcha automatically to anyone who gets reported. If they succeed the captcha they can’t be captha’ed again for 30 minutes. If they fail the captcha they are locked out for 2 minutes. If they fail again after next report within a certain time they get locked out for 5 minutes, then 10 minutes then 30 minutes and so forth.
The bot reporters get the immediate gratification of seeing the bot disappear after failing the captcha on their screen and you don’t have to waste manpower (by manpower I mean one slow underpayed intern) on banning bots.
