Does it evades magic damage like Slithering ?

It can but the buff that blocks for you lasts such a short time. It can be thought of as either very unreliable or extremely difficult to use. It has a lot of practicality when you’re swarmed by mobs or fast multi hit attacks though such as the mirtis AoE.
It shows up as a Block when it works successfully.
