Yeah, it does but the thing with it is that it has low range from what I’ve read and to take the most of it I would need to have more mobs around myself.
It makes it kinda lacking when it comes to boss fights and pvp (and I’ll probably try some pvp later on too).
With one point and maxed attributes it would still give a nice boost when fighting like 5 or more enemies and when there is less of them then it isn’t realy needed I think
The range is low but it isn’t that bad, it also works on boss traps. If you don’t like warcry that much you can leave it at lv 3 just to benefit from attributes, but I don’t really like warcry on a lower level. I’d take warcry over frenzy anyday as a fencer
Hmm… when I think about it now… Swashbuckling to aggro mobs and then Warcry should work just fine. Also - I’m realy happy with taking peltasta just for that one skill. Very usefull x3.

Yes, that’s why I die a little inside everytime I see a sword2 fencer because they “dont want to tank”, that alone makes them lose a lot of evasion for a dex based character. Swash is just a very big bonus that also happens to be very useful solo and parties!

Pure DPS fencer is bad either way, there are SM class that way better for that than Fencer.
The reasoning is Fencer skill have low AOE Ratio, so you are gonna sucks at crowd Clearing, you can have vubee gauntlet and such but it was still mediocre at best - compared to SM with finestra for example.
You can get SM2 if you have slight interest in PVP, but still not taking Peltesta might cause leveling problem latter on (*ehem just look at lots who cry in forum).
IMO Barb 3 were crap and not that awesome as you might lead to believe (Im barb 3 - Fencer btw and I regret this choice lol).
Stats Wise you can sacrifice few Points on STR and go build CON-Dex oriented.
Fencer Skill Coquile at level 4 can make Enemies have Perma - Physical Armor Ignored when recived Piercing attack. so you can still deal Hefty damage even without huge STR
