Now my question is, Pelt 1, how do you block with an Arde? I have seen people do it, I would prefer to now have to gear swap all the time.
If you can’t block with Arde, do fencers even use it?
1 - Magas rapier + any off hand
2 - Flanconnade blocking
Is magas worth using over duelist / catacombs? Well duelist seems very " eh "
the best 170 rapiers imo are
1 - Venier
2 - Cata Rapier
3 - Magas Rapier
Venier because of +2 and holy element, which currently has no weaknesses and has a lot of advantages due to the game having a lot of dark types. Catacombs Rapier because of +1 AoE attack ratio. Magas Rapier is a nice starting weapon because it’s cheap and does a lot for the price.
I don’t like duelist very well but it’s good for bosses I guess? But Venier is still better when the enemy is dark.

Right now I am using a Velinup ( got the mats + recipe for less than 150 on the market ) + Arde, I am lvl 124. At about 170 I should be a Fencer 1, how much does a Magas normally cost to make?
depends on your server really, but if you can buy the weapon itself for less than 500k do it, farming anchors can be an option if there’s no competition though. The recipe itself is very cheap because a lot of people rush the boss.
