Fencer build path new patch

hi i’m trying to figure out a fencer build after the patch (ever since the release of the game i wanted to make a fencer, but that was relegated because of different circumtances)
checking at build paths, the most common i’ve seen are with a combination of sw (mostly sw3) with highlander and/or barbarian and finally fencer3
i’ve seen that some use only gung ho, while other only use concentrate, and everything in between
also they talk about cleave’s crit rate and i want to know how does it work
regarding stats i think that the best is to have at least 100 dex and the rest in str
finally get crit rate through gear and gems

i want to know your thougts, why is so important sw3? why no gung ho and/or concentrate, why barb or hl, why cleave?
thanks!

SW3 is awesome thanks to Pain Barrier lv 15 and its attribute to last longer. That enables not to flinch while attacking, so you can go non stock against bosses, or whatever. Its an awesome skill to have. I went peltasta corsair but korean meta is HL 2 before Fencer.

so the base for the build is sw3, and later you can pick almost anything
people use restrain? if going sw3 i think that you max gung ho, concentrate and pain barrier

I’m doing sword 3 hl2 fencer 3.

I think Gung ho is better than concentrate because it can actually scale with glass mole since it’s real physical damage.

I use restrain but I think you’re right and it may be a better idea to put those points in concentrate instead. HOWEVER, you would not be able to max it if you want maximum DPS output - double slash is actually an amazing skill and worth maxing.

i think that hl is better than barb, i just tried cleave and the buff is only three seconds, the oh of the hl skills have more use than the barb skills (theory)
i like the idea of stunning your enemies with restrain and at lv10 is 66% chance, but the hp reduction is not small (984 at lv5 and 1763 at lv10)
you would think then that you max gung ho, pain barrier and double slash and the rest on concentrate
