Wondering if i could get a lv5 green gem by feeding lv1 green with a lv5 red.
it takes the exp of lvl 4.

So im getting a lv4 green?
1 -> 2 = 300
2 -> 3 = 900
3 -> 4 = 2700
4 -> 5 = 10800 (or sth like that, not entirely sure about the exact value)
So feeding a level 5 gem should give your lv1 gem 10800 EXP which results in a level 4 gem that needs another 3900 EXP for level 5.

no, the extra exp is lost. for say it understandable, you downgrade 1 lvl for change the gem color.
