Glad that somebody feel the same as me, permenant solmiki weapon as reward is really a joke, it’s like a slap to those who farmed mimi weapon, 2+ months 2 hrs daily, with ard 200m reroll silver.

Dragon Nest did this actually not once but twice (at least the EU server); they handed out free outdated (but still overpowered in comparison to normal gears) top-notch gear for everyone who managed to finish the dungeon memorial stages within the events duration.
I don’t think it’s particularly unfair to hand out Solmiki items, since everyone could’ve had them if they were dedicated by now;
However, people with real lifes couldn’t really participate since ET was a freakin 2 entries every day on top of whatever else to farm money to reroll cubes.
Now that the system was changed (at least in Korea), Solmiki will more or less become standard equipment sooner or later (or at least the weapons as some Classes have a huge benefit by using them which is quite unfair if you ask me; imo they should just remove the solmiki weapons from the game for the sake of fairness), so handing out 12 solmiki weapons per server doesn’t break the game.
People who get them will be the same no-lifers as those who farmed the solmiki gear till now so everything is fine.
Remember, Mr. Kim said TOS is a casual game. Don’t expect hardcore players being the overdogs forever.
IMO they should just give everyone a Solmiki weapon and noones gonna cry.

Another issue is that I’ve no confidence on their coding and management, for example the current pokemon event, they did not set limit on monster level hence currently was exploited by many players.
However, this isn’t a big issue since it is just 1 practo weapon and untradeable. Anyway, this also should be consider as design faulty and need fixes asap.
Another example is previous peoples get extraordinary fishing ranking in just first day, i wonder how the heck they do it.
We are not sure how peoples will find way to exploit this coming event, ToS are full of loopholes as we know, it is okay to jealous on peoples who actually lucky/effort to win the solmiki weapon, but at this point we are just unsure if someone able to exploit the event and won it.

Don’t worry, exploiters will always find a way. Heck, they even found a new bug with black death steam to crash everyone at world bosses.
That’s why i won’t even bother with this event.

Did you read the initial post? Have you read anything about Leticia Cube? It is not part of the rewards of this event. So the point here is not just the rewards of this event as there are several other factors that have been causing the dissatisfaction and indignation of veteran players and hardcores over the past few months. If you read the whole post will understand this. The fact of deciding to be hardcore does not stop me from complaining, quite the contrary, it allows me to complain even more, about anything that I deem pertinent, because I spend 16h of the day in the game. But as I said, my friend, if you disagree is your right, but respect the right of others to complain, because there is nothing “ridiculous” here, after all I am a customer and I will complain whenever I feel necessary.

If you tell someone not to be sad over setbacks and disappointments then you might as well tell them not to feel happy over any achievements

naah mate, its more like;
imagine you work for 20 years for the same company, working hard for a rise and stuff, you gain 2000 whatever a month
the company employs some recently graduated young guy and he instantly receives a 99999999 whatever bonus because he’s the employee number 1000! yaaay fair stuff!
so yeah, everyone that has been working their asses actually farming this stuff for months have all the right to be salty, even if you dont farm it or whatever its clearly not fair, this kind of “reward” its a bit over the top
Edit: “12 winners only” uhm… yeah tell that to the ONE guy that has a Solmiki on the whole server

Agreed, technically any current solmiki weapon holders would still be salty and crying if future weapons have better stats and dropped as a lower rarity.
People should just be appreciative of what IMC is giving out.
What we see here is always:
No new events - Complain
No new classes - Complain
New classes - Complain (my class is weak)
New events - Complain (event gives out crap/ event gives out stuffs that are too good)
There’s no way to please everyone
