Reason for report : Gold sellers have found a method to create accounts without a teamname. This means you can’t block them or report them. This is a pretty serious issue as the other Gold Sellers haven’t started using it yet, when they do things will get extremely bad very quickly. Auto block addons also can’t apply a block to the player.

This bot disappeared for a while, but has returned again now (05.36PM server time).
It now has another player standing in exactly the same spot to camouflage its name abuse. This is dangerous because it is a clever attempt to get players to incorrectly report a player character that is doing nothing wrong, this will lower reporting players RII. Report strength index or whatever it is called.
I have heard that there is also one appearing in Klaipeda CH1 now, but I have not seen it myself yet.
What is really important to understand about this bot is that right clicking them does not display any option to select their player name, so only the decoy name is shown to players that right click on them.
EDIT: Removed @ tags so staff aren’t notified unnecessarily.

I wonder if GMs are able to ban them since a normal player can neither mute nor report them…
Can you get rid of them via Ice Wall?

I’m able to move them with ice wall but because the 2 players are on the exact same coordinate of space the ice wall moves both of them to the same places. I can’t split them apart to remove their camouflage or attempt to make other players report incorrectly.
Update. I moved them a bit, and they appear to have now gone quiet.
I’m going to go about my usual business and we’ll see if it starts operating again later. I’ll report back next time I catch one of these.
Here is the Klaipeda player doing the same thing. Character name is “hjgu”. They’re hiding in the pile of market people and because they have no teamname there is no way to block them. I guarantee lots of incorrect reports and blocks are happening in that pile of players.
It’s a serious issue.

would highly recommend a function where u can block and report spam chat bot from the chat screen instead of on the character itself.
so far to wat i know ,u can only block chat,u cant report chat.

Whatever exploit they’re using to achieve this problem needs a fix because they’re going to be back pretty much as soon as the site owners realise those ones are gone.
I’ll update this thread with each one I come across and notify with @ tags in the meantime. This is basically worse than its ever been because they’re unblockable, it’s going to hurt new player perceptions in a time when the community needs an injection of positive thinking players with the reopening on steam.

EDIT: On another note, if there is a better way to notify any currently available staff instead of giving an @ tag to all staff that would be lovely. I imagine that all the staff not currently available don’t really need the notification when they get online/work if it has already been dealt with. The flagging would be great for that but limitation to 1 per day makes it impossible to use in any useful way.

maybe there can be some kind of tag list which tells us who we should tag for reporting of certain issue.
or a “online status” for gm but this is more of a extreme.
a tag list on who are the duty staff would be really nice.

I wholeheartedly agree.
I’d much rather not waste the time of half the staff who no longer need the notification from those @ tags, so I’ve removed them all in my earlier post now so it doesn’t bother them when they get online next.
