My first join this forum, was confused to add my friend into a list
Is not there a feature to Add Friends List In This Forum?
and I did not find a feature to send private messages
I think it’s very important feature in the community
There doesn’t appear to be one…I need some tomodachis!! 
I’m not really sure about friend list.
So, if I added someone to my friend list, what benefit can I get?
Because basically, everyone can interact with each other very well without having to add them as friends.

Having lots of people on a friends list makes you feel cool.

You can click on someone’s profile picture and there’s that Message button. Is that not fast enough?
Well… what i mean is, all we need just open friends/buddy list, find someone u wanna send pm. I think its better than we go through all the page looking the ppl name to find the one we wanna send pm.

But if the friend list were to be implemented, I just wish we don’t need to wait for the other party’s confirmation to accept us as their friend.
Just simply use Twitter’s & Instagram’s “Follow” feature.
I think it might be a useful feature down the line as the community expands. Gives you quick access to a list of guild mates or people you might commonly trade with.
I think right now though, the community is so small it wouldn’t necessitate it. However later on, I could see it being useful.

‘Follow’ would be great and i hope we don’t need our friend to follow back before we can send them messages
While this is a nice idea, it’s not something IMC can do, but rather a Discourse feature that needs to be added.
They had a discussion over the course of 2 years about how they should go about it here:
The last response by a co-founder said it’s in the plans but not on the current roadmap so it may be awhile.
However, I believe there are plugins for Discourse that offer similar features that IMC might want to take a look at.

This “Follow” feature isn’t that important anyway, it’s just meant to easier for private messaging. If people don’t want to waste their time by searching a specific nickname, they can just simply mention them via @blablabla
