Featherfoot Unbalanced Skill

Hi, first i like to say i really enjoy what IMC so far is doing with this class, the theme fit perfectly with the type of skill they have.

As a C1 the only problem i found is Blood Bath.

  1. The skill has a small dmg mod when compare to other skill that are rank 7 (this honestly is oki if not for my next point)

  2. The Bleed Effect is the core of this skill dmg, and i think is great. The problem is that it only makes insect, beast, and devil monsters bleed.

  • Is this intended to fix some kind of bug from the CBT?
  • Was this part of the nerf related to Bloodsucking and an oversight?
  • Is this just what you wanted a skill that only does dmg to a type of monsters and not all?

I have been testing the damage and it seems it s balance around apply the bleed to all types of monsters and not just the limited few like Bloodsucking. Im also basing this on the fact that the dmg it does with the bleed is on par with skill that have similar cd, like Frost cloud, Heal. Blood Bath CD is 35s

I believe that allowing Blood Bath to apply the bleeding to all monsters types does not constitute an overpower buff, but one that will balance to class. I know you guys are super busy with other important issues, so i like to thank you for reading my post and considering giving me your thoughts, and this could possibly reach the ears of the skill balancing team.

Well, bloodbath did get buffed in korea recently:

3. Featherfoot
Blood Bath
- Skill base damage has been increased 323 → 387.6. (Damage increase per level has been increased 83.28 → 99.94)
- Health Regeneration will be changed to 30% of Damage Dealt.

But I agree that they need to remove the target limitation - atleast make the dot apply since I guess stealing life from automatons wouldn’t make much sense.

Also buff kurdaitcha to not slow you down but speed you up instead - atm it’s only use is the attribute.

Yea, that slow movement was kinda odd, since the attribute say in quotes (any other curse also applies) im taking as the hex from Bone Point will proc it so going to pass on Kard and see how it works.

Yea, it does makes no sense robot style and golem (stone) bleeds. They could switch the limit to be related to the health absorb. automatons crumble? to justify the bleed. Im just thinking the bleed itself dont do that much dmg, but makes the skill worth it. I mean i dont even use it outside the targeted mobs, cuz the dmg vs sp cost is not worth it.

Pretty sure kurdaitchas attribute applies to bone pointing, since they corrected it in a patch on the 28th:

  1. Featherfoot
[Kurdaitcha: Double Damage] Attribute has changed. (On TOSBase, It’s called Kurdaitcha: Enhance )
    • Attacks from the caster and party members can hit damage twice.
    • Curse Debuffs of other characters will not apply.

Seems to imply that any curse from you (so pointing) will cause a proc chance.

Ideally I think featherfoot skills would be changed like this:

Bloodsucking: Slight SP cost decrease. No type limitation (demon etc).
Bloodbath: Higher base damage. Does not steal life from non insect/demon/beast but still applies damage over time.
Kurdaitcha: Speed up movement and curse enemies in a large area. Add attribute to reduce enemy movement speed in the curse zone.
Bone pointing: Nothing really needs a change for this skill.
Ngaghundi: Increased on hit damage, trigger from projectile attacks and magic projectiles (i.e. ice bolt/magic missile) to reduce hp.

I believe in C2 one of the datamined skills was levitate, which I assume allows you to avoid ground tiles.

Exactly what i think would balance it out, not make it to strong. Nice points lest hope the staff sees what we are talking about.

Hey, What server are you in? Have you changed to feather already? How isit so far?

I play in Orsha @lacsondemesaro. Yes im already playing as feather, my build W3-E3-Feath. Is really good especially if you party with a linker.

How does your DPS fare against a Warlock in World Bossing?

Tbh, not sure. It hard to tell with all the position lag bosses have. On “Paper” Feather skill are ST oriented VS Warlock being more AoE.

-Pole has 2min CD, Bloodsucking 40 sec, similar dmg mod at 5.
-Mastema and Ngadhundi at level 5 have around the same Dmg Mod, while 35 sec for Mast and 12 sec for Ngad
-Dark Theurge + Evil sac 32sec, Blood Bath 35sec. 300ish more base attack on Dark Theurge.

The biggest difference is that Lock skills all have 1+sec cast time assuming a W3 for quick cast, plus the last combo requires 2 global-2sec, while the Feather are all Instant.
