I really wanna buy myself a pet companion! Im a newbie so I kind of need help fighting, im halfway through gaining the money tp buy it, but im a level 55 and juat cant go any further alone.
Any tips on how to gain faster silver?
Best way to make silver is to identify some material on the market worth value you deem worth farming and go farm it.
Other way is to level up, you get plenty of silver from levelling quests which increases as you get higher level. Don’t be afraid to do the monster kill quests too. Will give you sooner good silver killing things.
There is no “quick” silver method in this game.

Well there is always that job behind the mercenary post…though you need to have a good looking outfit.
But as for a real thing, having a pet i believe takes up a character slot or so i have heard…hold out on that pet for now.

Get yourself a hunter (takes only a few hours to create a Rank2, class level 15 character) and you will receive a voucher for free pet upon class advancement.

There are classes that get you free pets.
The easiest would be hunter (3rd rank)
Next is Cataphract (4th rank)
Last would be Falconer (5th or 6th rank ? )
Also, fyi, pets take up a character slot in your team. So have an open one when you have it.

Falcon from falconer cannot be used on any other class.
So the earliest is Hunter, then Cata, then Schwarzer Reiter, but since Schwarzer Reiter is in Archer tree as well, it would make sense to go hunter if only pet is needed.

if you don’t have an open slot, you will be prompted to buy one (33 TP.) if you don’t have any TP to buy a slot with, you’ll need to delete a character.
if you can’t do either, you can’t add a pet.
meanwhile, if you’re frozen out of progression at only lv55, you might want to go back to the drawing board and consider re-examining your class and build. or even just go somewhere and farm for a while, or buy a few levels with xp cards.
there’s actually quite a few… i’m surprised.
what would i do with 2 pets?
since i bought the DLC1, and then the discounted DLC1 too… meaning i get 2 of the hideous furbys

Just quest your way up. Suddenly you have some 100k spare money by level 100.

that is the opposite of making money.
i have 125k spare cash, all earned from 55-60. and that’s AFTER repairs, and buffs, and other leveling expenses.
do what @PrinceMark said; farm mobs that are a couple of levels below you (enough so they’re nice and easy to kill, and they can’t hurt you much), until you get some decent rare drops. auction said rares.
bear in mind, of course, that most of the rares that may be found at around level 55 aren’t nearly as valuable as things found at higher levels.
Vubbe Fighter blood (Vubbe Fighter, crystal mines 3F)… Shredded piece of cloth (Shredded, Crystal Mines 2F), and to a lesser degree Gilt Helmet (Pawnd, Tenet Church 1F) are specific examples of -ridiculously- rare drops, that will earn you buckets of cash.
…on the off chance you can find one.
but again, seriously, reconsider your build and/or playstyle if you’re seriously having trouble on maps that are the same level as you.
if you’re having trouble because you’re going to maps that are above your level… well that’s your problem right there.

Off-topic, Stuck at 8x Cataphract, 2x krivis, 2x archer because I can’t play. I can’t play because of work. And with a business trip/off-site assignment for 2 months, I doubt I’ll be able to play at all. lol
