Farming class assistance

Hello everyone! I’m planning on building a class that is best suitable for farming and according to what I have searched the most suggested class tree is s3 > peltasta > corsair 3 > Doppel. However, I would to ask if s3 > barb 1 > c1 > doppel 3 works as well. Any thoughts regarding this? Thanks a lot in advance!

Pelt is there for the spammable aggro taunt which makes farming a lot faster and easier.

Corsair 1 proc is 5% Which is really bad . C2 minimum for farming.

I noticed you are trying to make a pseudo Dps -farmer. Pillage works based on proc chance per hit and having high Dps is kinda counter productive. Either you go full farmer or full Dps. Hybrids won’ shine in either field

Yeah I was trying to make that. :joy: I thought of depending on Doppel’s Double Pay Earn with c1 then at the same time having high DPS.

double pay earn is unreliable for farming, the least frequent skill i used, just used it against shiny mob

Ohh! Alright, thanks for the help and ideas :grinning:

Hullo \o/ I am personally using the build you mentioned in the thread, here’s the link of the build i am using now. Do support it \o/

This build is no doubt a great build for farming \o/ dop1 is not just for Double Pay Earn, it can provide dps with cyclone as well, multi-proc pillaging attribute at the same time. Pelt is just a filler class and easier time to gather mobs, it really saves you a lot of time from going around hitting mobs and gathering them together to kill them. If you feel lack of damage, you can always pick highlander or barbarian for dps. Sure DPE is not a reliable skill to be depended on while farming, but sometimes you can get lucky, so its exciting to kill with DPE effect is on \o/

All in all, farming build really depends on your personal playstyle, whether it is thau2 ff2 or swordie farming build, it all comes down to your class preference. Don’t play a build which you dont feel comfortable because farming is a long and tiring process, you want to reduce that effect as much as possible

If you’re ok with lower evasion, you can also add Hop1 for hoplite’s 3 aoe ratio attribute. It’ll help you hit more enemies, clearing a mob of enemies abit faster in high-density mobbing environments.

I’d also recommend Guardian over Gung ho for either choice, so you hit slightly lower damage (so you proc pillage) and also take less damage, so you use potions less often.

Be mindful of walls too.
If you can do your best old school Reiter2 impersonation and hug every wall you can after agroing, enemies wont be able to annoyingly walk behind you and you can Retreat Sho- i mean… DWA them, and probably hit more at once.
