Just want to give you guys a quick reminder that the majority of “hacked” accounts in MMO’s are directly related to having an account on a fansite.
The reason is that people often use the same login information / password to access their account on a fansite. Those websites are sometimes targeted by hackers and their info gets stolen and used to log in to various games.
My advice is to use at least a different and complicated password for every account you register (write it down somewhere). Also, do not use logical answers or stuff you can google for your secret question.
This might be logical to most of you, however you’d be surprised how many people that claim to know this and still fall for it
